Make siegebreaker baseline and make it apply MS effect as well just like mortal strike does. Make enrage reduce damage taken by 10%-15% that was a PvP talent but should be baseline. Arms gets defensive stance which is 20% but has the negative effect of losing 10% damage. Fury is too squishy right now. A change to enraged regen making it reduce damage taken by 50% up from 30% would be nice, just keep the heal benefit on enraged regen. Increase their damage by a bit more than this little 8% buff they’re getting, their damage should be on par with arms. I posted this on arena forum but I’d rather post it here to get opinions
I’m not having problems with survivability at all as fury, other than the usual anti-melee mechanics that this game always has, but which are the same for any melee spec.
Well-placed Ignore Pains, Enraged Regens, Rallies and Impendings will keep you up for most mechanics while the healer does his job.
Where fury is SEVERELY lacking is damage. I’ll take those 8% over nothing, but we’ll need more than that to be even middle of the pack in M+, and a lot more for raids as single-target damage is even more pitiful right now.
Completely agree on the MS and enrage changes, that would be phenomenal. The enraged regen being 50% reduction may be a little much, but if Fury had a defensive stance that would help a lot, considering I could blow my enraged regen on a weak rogue open and still get one shot. The damage buff they’re getting is a start though, guess we’ll see how it pans out a week or two from now, think they’ll need a little more love.
It was never a PvP talent. It is currently a regular talent.
A baseline, 60-80% uptime 15% DR would be a bit on the too strong side.
So you want survival instincts, that lasts longer, has a shorter CD, and gives major healing.
That is not going to happen.
Druids have 2 50% wall charges so I don’t see why not.
Valid point, lets get these changes going!
We could increase the CD maybe idk
Guardian has that.
That’s a tank.
Fury is not a tank.
And again, ER lasts longer, has a shorter CD, can be used while stunned, and gives massive healing.
You’re comparing two wildly different things.
Ok even if they don’t fix ER I still want the other changes
Is this pve or pvp? Pve, they should be fine after the buff they getting for their single target issues, maybe even beat arm on dps. But that remain to be see.
For pvp, fury need have their IP tweek a bit and a redesign on their utility/kit to be competitive compare of what arms can bring atm. Something unique that is not more self heal or a bit more mobility.
Thirst for blood needs to be baseline and brought back. 15% more movement speed and removes snares
Please don’t make Siegebreaker baseline, Fury and Arms once both had colossus smash, it made both specs basically play around it and made them feel the same.
Would rather not go down that road again.
Siegebreaker never was relied upon as fury. Ever. Idk where you’re getting this.
Its basically a weaker version of Colossus smash, i never said it was relied upon. I said Colossus smash was relied upon.
If you think it wouldn’t change quite a few things to make it baseline you are wrong. It would cause us to have to change the way we use Anger management for example.
Hmm… good point but I still prefer my idea
Disagree with giving Fury an MS effect… I think there’s been better suggestions in this forum for making Fury stronger in rated pvp.
2cents anyhow.
Arms will forever be miles ahead of fury until fury either gets good damage or a MS effect for healer pressure. Right now arms does more damage even sitting in defensive stance with MS ontop of that.
Yeah I dont believe it’s an either or situation. They have to get and MS effect or real high damage to be competitive.
I personally thought a cool way to help them out would be to give them a cc immunity ability with some more damage.
Either way the Devs don’t look for suggestions here so this is all a moot point.
dont curse us with this kind of bs playstyle again. Already bad enough its a talent.
I would definitely love a MS effect attached to rampage or something. Would bring us closer to arms in usefulness. Arms would still have alot more utility with its pvp talents which im fine with. I think fury should be more about dmg than about team utility anyways.
Either of the following:
- Slam made useful again by making it deal comparably more damage than Whirlwind while generating 6 rage instead of costing 20 rage, making it become a single target filler.
- Onslaught is baseline.
Plus the following:
Rampage applies a 25~33% healing reduction to all targets affected. The thing about Mortal Strike is Mortal Wounds only ever affect 2 at once if you use Sweeping Strikes. I fear causing a 50% nearly-spammable healing reduction would be too much in PvP. 25 to 33% would be still significant, but apply to many targets at once.
That said, while we’re making Christmas wishes, I want Shockwave or Storm Bolt to be baseline.
