Fixing the HPal Holy Power, Holy Shock and Infusion economy - an attempt

I see no reason why lod and wog don’t both deserve to be buffed. As it sits now I don’t remember the last time I casted lod outside a raid… and wog with dawn stacks is pathetic.

As it sits hpal feels like a caster that sits in melee range at least in mythic dungeons than a healer that melees. (Yes I know crusader strikes and shield)

They do deserve to be buffed, or at least more consistent. For example nerfing Blessing of Dawn nodes so it only gives 15-20% to spenders and adding that 40% healing to spenders baseline would be a massive help at least short term. Long term I don’t think holy power will ever feel good for holy paladin imo unless it moves away from builder/spender which I don’t see happening.

There are so many different ways to accomplish this, it would just be nice to see them try.

Word of Glory could apply glimmer.

Glistening Radiance could trigger 100% of the time at 50% value.

Unending Light could go both ways also buffing Light of Dawn for HP spent on WoG.

Add WoG to Boundless Salvation.

Buff to Awakening to give up to 50% cooldown reduction to AW/AC.

Etc.

Just go back to WoD or legion hpal. Fixed.

What exactly about wod or legion would you like to return to? The no Holy Power of Legion or the specific power levels of Holy Shock, Flash of Light and LoD? Like what exactly was it about those versions that you think is good.

I liked both. Personally I’m more a fan of old healer playstyle where dps is a bonus not a requirement. WoD was the best imo eternal flame scaled well / lots of cds / very efficient healer. Holy power didn’t feel like a crutch it added to the class.

Legion was great as well just different it’s the happy medium between strong healer and introduced the melee playstyle but it wasn’t mandatory to dps just fun to add in.
