20-30 minutes is a ridiculous wait to play one game, basically unplayable.
What are some ways to fix this?
The most obvious problem is not enough healers.
Why not add more incentives for healers?
As a blunt force solution, why not just give people level 70 healers? Blizzard make a quest or something that gives people a ready to play healer with blue pvp gear and lets them queue up?

Agreed, waiting for 30 minutes just to get a game in literally makes the game unplayable. I’m lucky to get 6 games in or so after work. Most of the time it’s sitting and waiting for a que to pop while doing something else. God forbid the que pops while you run to the bathroom or something and then end up having to wait another 30 minutes… RSS has hands down been the worst game mode ever released in the history of WoW.
I’d argue that pet battles is the worst game mode ever. RSS takes a close second.

As an avid pet collector I think I agree.
They cant even fix damage, how are they going to fix que times? and most healers dont suck, its allowing melee to have long ccs and interupts with added mortal strikes etc and dampening starting in dps advantage.Melee dps is the problem, thats why no one wants to play this mongo melee meta. I just dropped 200 rating today. I was top dmg, top cc, and i lost 1-5 and lost 50 points. Melee can zerg and 1 shot and climb the ladders fast and blizzard allows it. i use to heal until i found out all u get is double melee over and over and over and over again. the state of pvp and ss is poor.
As healer I disagree git gud and i am not even big rated.
It is team not you vs dps.
Yeah I just got an instant que that someone missed, got another que 5 minutes later that someone missed again, then after 30 minutes of waiting finally got into a lobby with 2 disc priests and a prot warrior.
I was ready for Ashton Kutcher to come out with a camera crew

blizzard is probably just waiting for the dps to get tired of it and quit in big enough numbers to lower queue times that way.
More than 2 DPS would have to quit before each quitting healer for this to be at all tenable
Play healer and you will understand the suffering
I know I specifically went Holy to not have queue times and it’s been amazing. I have limited time as well so I have to have instant play.
It’s been tremendous fun. I wish I could roll a DPS alt but with those queues I simply don’t know.
I think a lot of people blame damage yet if healing becomes too easy it just becomes another “do no damage until cooldowns” fight which is insanely boring.
Should probably just let RSS queues happen without healers, tbh. The only incentive for me to play RSS would be to make climbing it as a healer feel the same as climbing the 2/3s ladder (in a regular, non-deflated season), and there’s no way for Blizzard to design the game to feel like I’m playing with the caliber of DPS I’m used to playing with for that to happen.
Better off just letting DPS faceroll to 2400 and letting the players that prefer a more technical environment go back to 2s/3s.
