The cc’s and stuns would decrease skill level overall as we’d have more interrupts. Like someone had said below though, perhaps less trash mechanics and interrupts might be the play to just blast!
I have never heard of anyone just wanting short dungeons, so that’s an interesting point. Most guilds / discords I’ve been in just want big pulls, pug friendly bosses, and/or nostalgic dungeons.
Totally agree with your delve power system if that could be implemented in some way.
I think reverting the interrupt change is good or at least make mob casts less frequent and/or force them to move when we interrupt their spells. Right now some mobs just stand in place waiting for their spells to become active again.
Well like I said, it isn’t changing delves. Delves should scale to mythic gear level IMO.
But for M+ yes less interrupts
get rid of AOE caps(people like big pulls and big numbers.)
Positive affixes similar to S3 of SL. Fix UI so people have the option to clearly see where a person is and is not safe to stand.
Chill out on the constant movement. No I don’t want to stand still the whole time, but I also don’t want to adjust my position every other GCD either.
Get rid of keys. I’m a big boy. Let me pick where I want to go and how difficult it’ll be. I’ll deal with the consequences of failure.
Find a breakpoint where enemy damage stops scaling and only enemy health grows. I’ve heard from many high end players that dungeons become unhealable before they run into timer issues.
Make them shorter(Many of us would like to see some 10-15 minute dungeons)
Allow people to be replaced. I’m sure you could find a tank or healer that doesn’t mind filling in on the last boss with 15 minutes left on the timer, as long as they get full credit.
M+ Desperately needs a queueable low end mode so new players can easily join and get started learning the mythic mechanics and start earning an M+ rating. Even if that is M0 or M1 only.
I’m sure the community has plenty of other good ideas. But that’s just a start.
Speaking gold here! I actually love the idea of no keys… just open the font and pick your level. The AOE cap thing would be good but I feel it’s there for easier balance which is hard enough as it is.
I’ll agree people don’t want to be there in the sense that quicker and faster dungeons means they can move on the next dungeon treadmill for more reward.
But people do want to participate in the system. They do want to enjoy the dungeon while they are there.
The problem with lower level dungeons is the game is abysmally bad at tutorializing its encounters. I don’t know of many games with this problem. I certainly can’t think of one right now. A game that depends on the community to teach each other how to play as much as WoW is an absurd problem to have.
Then you have to deal with the fact lower level keys barely tolerates the practice players need to succeed once they learn what to do. You can read the journal all you want but to truly understand it you need to see it.
