Update: This seems to be fixed now! You may have to reinstall the app for it to take effect.

The Android progressive web app for the US WoW forums (https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/) ...
… started having a bug a couple weeks ago where the “W” icon gets smaller every day against its white background/outline. When the “W” shrinks considerably, it takes multiple taps on the app to get it to open.
Clearing the web app’s cache and data in my phone settings, clearing the site’s cache on Chrome, and restarting my phone did not help. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, Android 12.
The app name has also been incomplete since early 2020, displaying as “World of”.
If I check the “World of” app info in my settings, the version number increases with each reduction in icon size. When it eventually became very tiny, it listed it as “Version 8”. Reinstalling the web app returns the icon to its normal size and to Version 1 but it quickly starts this process again.
