FIXED: Offer of Power quest is stuck, can't click bubble

I’ve been trying to complete this quest on and off for a few hours now. I’ve tried with all addons off, logging off, switching characters, quitting the game and restarting, etc.

  1. Accept the Offer of Power quest in Nazmir
  2. Wait for Zardrax to finish his speech
  3. Click the bubble

In videos of the quest, a cast bar should appear to show that I’m freeing myself from his control. But for me no cast bar shows, and I have to abandon the quest to get free.

(I’m doing this on a horde character, FWIW)

Update: This was fixed when I logged on to the character 24 hours later. So… I guess just give it some time if it bugs for you.

Had this same issue this morning. Had to relog and retry it closer to them. I was standing too far back I think and couldn’t reach the bubble.

This just happened to me. I was able to break free by abandoning the quest and trying again

I and a couple other people were getting stuck, and this is what worked for me and the others…

While being stuck, I logged out, exited the game completely, logged back in, accepted the quest again, listened to his speech for the millionth time, and it finally worked, we were able to break free… finally.
