It’s absurd to have to stop between each pull just to raise mana, not even healers need this as much. All other tanks do not have similar problems.
This issue makes many talents useless, at some point are they going to fix it? The class becomes useless in the midst of many fights.

The man is trying to keep me down. Jokes on him though, I’ve been drinking between pulls for years! Hic

have some marinated maggots.
I complained about it beforehand but honestly, as some suggested in my post, if you shift your mindset from “use WoG to not eat up Shining Light stacks” to “Use WoG when you absolutely need it” it becomes way more bearable, I’ve hardly ever struggle with mana, unless it’s a situation where the healer is down or making a mistake like doing a big pull before DPS have CDs available.
It’s not ideal, I don’t think it’s very intuitive, as most classes out there avoid eating up stacks as part of their optimization in similar situations, but… We play the cards we are dealt.
I’ve only used it when I needed it and I still ran out of mana, and they were all Shining Light stacks (why do those cost mana anyway?). Last week’s affix also exacerbated the problem as I was purging myself and other players.

Yeah, it’s still happens from time to time, and I know exactly what you mean with losing a lot of mana to dispells, the healer that I primarily play with is a Priest, so they can’t dispell poison, so typically I am in charge of a lot of dispells, when needed and it can drain your mana real fast.
Still though, while my mana is usually around 40%, sometimes less, I haven’t had to stop to drink in quite a few keys now by not using WoG too freely.
I just drink a mana potion when in a pinch but I still shouldn’t have to, no other tanks have this problem.
