Theres little you can do when your team is behind other than suffer an agonizing 30 minute loss and it totally favors the Defending faction.
Yeah rolling defense is an automatic win.
The walls seem a little strong, but im pretty sure the problem remains that people dont like reading bg chat or communicating anymore.
Communicating when theres going tonbe a united push from both BT and SR on one side. Vs Dividing and focusing opposite points of entry to divide the defense, both work. Important that ranged dps kill canons and defensive towers go down.
Its absolutely not impossible to lose as defense. Defense have the advantage, thats all.
Nobody knows the strategies. More still dont even know how the bg works from a basic standpoint. I still see 3-5 catas attacking walls with 5 minutes left. Its just a mess.
WG dossnt need buffed, the new generation of wow players needs to relearn / learn wg.
Ofc offensive buffs would be welcome. Lol.
I would also like the tower canons buffed so i can get the mounted player kill achieve lol. Does way too little
Allowing people to nope out of specific bgs like in the past would help some of the glaring issues with some of the games
I agree with Blacklisting, but if games start 7v10 etc. it is ripe for abuse.
The problem is defence have a big advantage as they have 2/6 workshops behind walls.
Even when everyone knew how to play WG in WotLK defence normally wins. From memory alliance were always on D and horde attacked but then they changed it
The attackers should have 2 safe workshops lol. Either that or all workshop’s should be up for grabs or 1 safe workshop each.
The southern towers are much easier to destroy compared to the WG keep.
I would be shocked if offence win more than 25% of the games.

A team with the will and with meta-melee and good healers are killing vehicles pretty darn fast even at this point in the xpac. But WG is still about who has more vehicles (WSs) and uses them best (cata vs demo vs seige). Defense is strong for teams that understand killing the enemies’ vehicles at the walls is priority; ninjaing WS to deplete O’s number of vehicles is also key.
Playing O with a bad pug is the worst though. Unfortunately it’s worth AFKing because eating the 15 mins is still shorter than enduring the entire time left being chased around the map by the Defense.
I agree with this. What would be nice, is if new players that join are automatically promoted to first lieutenant and able to pilot all siege units. Simply because the more veteran players tend to leave, which leaves players with rookies that cannot pilot anything.
Secondly, the game should have another victory condition via resource depletion. 300 resources on each side (tweak the numbers) OR breach the walls and get to the core.
I’d like to see the rank system removed entirely so less of the game rests on who wins the first big team fight.
Make both sides have a 15 vehicle cap at all times regardless of shops. Shops can instead give a siege damage bonus, not counting the two base ones (and obviously there is an advantage to having them as a building point).
Also give a zone wide significant mount speed buff since the map is so big so more people are inclined to travel to do objectives at far shops/towers. Can increase vehicle speed a bit as well.
Defense should also immediately win if they down all towers and hold all shops simultaneously so we don’t have to wait out completely dominated defense games. Or maybe even just all towers down since people will be more likely to defend them with travel speed improvements. Could improve the turrets or something on them or buff up the health a bit if needed.
I’d also consider changing shops to have a flag to cap to capture them instead of the stand there with more people system. I think that system is just better overall in general. It allows for faster and more significant individual impact in both taking an objective and defending it.
They could try out changes in a brawl or something to see how people like it and then bring them over to the main mode if people like them.

WG is a lost cause. Just get rid of it. It was never fun.
The 2 workshops in the fort used to be destroyable, guess they removed that mechanic…
All Epics are bad and should be removed if they can’t fix them. Rather they dedicate resources to brawl or new PvP formats if they are gonna let Epics be the cesspool they are.
Because alliance pugs are dumb and refuse to comprehend that killing vehicles on their wall and grabbing WSs gives them a good chance to win. Alliance pugs prefer to just give up and cry in chat. The only good thing about that is it’s a fast loss if they’re on D. But they are basically just bad.
Not trying to be rude, but just don’t queue them if you don’t like them, since it’s a separate queue. Plenty of regular BGs to play.
