Entered a dungeon at 46 and someone facepulled Raal the Gluttonous, 1st boss in dungeon with the way doors are setup. We wipe, I’m vote kicked for no reason and now I have a 30min debuff. WTF. This game is getting so frustrating to play, it’s ridiculous.

Tank, heals and 1 dps were all from same server my damage meter says, dunno bout guild.

It’s sucks that it happened. Unfortunately you was the low man on the totem pole and they blamed you, again it sucks. I don’t see Blizzard ever changing the VtK, considering how it used to work before it’s current incarnation

While I sympathize with your situation what is your proposed fix to this? This has been a discussion for years and it shows that majority rules is the best solution

Had a group earlier try to vote kick a player because they asked in freehold “We skipping all the bosses? That seems to ruin the point of a dungeon.” Even though the DH followed anyways and didn’t try to pull anything.
Vote kicking for little to no reason needs to be solved but we all know we’re not gonna get more moderation in game so.

Luckily, the frequency of vote kick abuse seems to be pretty low. I think it has happened maybe 3 times to me throughout my entire time playing. I’ve only seen it happen to one other person.
Because it’s so rare I say just move on to the next group.

I’m annoyed I got vote kicked for no reason, I was top dps by FAR -and- I didn’t pull boss as a melee lmao. I’m PO’d cuz I got 30min debuff. That’s my solution, remove vote kick debuff.

They added that for people who got kicked to stop people (mostly tanks) from forcing their group to kick them when they got an instance they didn’t like. They’d refuse to do anything until kicked since they had instant queues and could just keep trying until they got something they liked. That worked fine for them but it was less appealing if you were a DPS that spent 45 minutes waiting for a queue to pop only to have to wait even more for a tank that would stay.

Well the many outweigh the few. The few would be tanks refusing to tank, the many would be normal people on a Sat night trying to play who get troll kicked.

Yes someone, as me a (melee dps) in the hallway not in front of doorway out side, not ranged pull the boss through the doorway.
I’m not seeing how removing it when you’re kicked would be “the many outweigh the few”. It’d be the few (those who do get “troll kicked” and the tanks that will hold their groups hostage) outweighing the many (those who get stuck waiting for a tank that’ll stay).

The reason was that you face-pulled the boss and caused a wipe. Stop acting like you did nothing wrong.
Am I on crazy pills? Can not believe what I’m reading. Yeah this may not be the full story, but if people think kicking someone over one accident in a leveling dungeon is justified then this community really is trash
