Fix timewalking

timewalking scaling is broken for anyone who has not been at their level for more than 5 minutes or already has gear for their level and is over 60. it is ridiculous getting multiple group wipes on easy content even when everyone is playing their best and in a slow flow. mob scaling is too op and takes too long and low level player scaling to higher players means your level 12 healer doesn’t have their scaled healing ability unlocked yet, so they only do 300 healing to a 10m hp monster tank…

I tried TW even on my S1 geared characters. I’m not quite picking up where it’s hard at the moment.

It isn’t hard but on some of my alts it IS weirdly scaled in places.

Atal’Dazar’s acid pools seem like they will IMMEDIATELY kill anyone level 30 or under if you take longer than a second to move.

Have you tried it with a low level tank who doesnt have all the options for holding threat on mobs or a healer who doesnt have access to Hero talents, high level talents or all of a healer’s abilities?

I have, and they can be a matter of multiple wipes.

I’m of the opinion that there should be some sort of separation of lower level/twink characters away from the rest of the players with mobs and bosses scaled according to their abilities.

Only Kings Rest is bugged with scaling. Haven’t seen nor run into issues in any other Timewalking dungeon.

I’ve only been through two wipes in 25 dungeons. Both were Kings Rest due to the lowbie scaling bug and not knowing mechanics.

I will confess to not trying on a low tank yet since the changes.

I can mistweave all the way no problem

100% a skill issue. I’ve leveled 5 characters so far to 80 in this timewalking phase including 2 tanks. And I never even came remotely close to death a single time, and never seen a wipe.

The only people I saw die were noobs standing in bad.

The fact that timewalking is challenging to you is crazy.

This is a HORRIBLE idea. The Q times would be even worse than they are now.

I’ve been in groups with level 25ish tanks and level 73ish tanks. I haven’t seen any issues. Or if there were, I don’t remember.

One DH tank at around level 50ish said he was new to tanking and had some aggro issue for the first like five minutes and then no problem after that.

A couple of things in Atal’Dazar were doing more than my max health under level 30 a few days ago, but outside of these two places I haven’t had issues either. Certainly not to the extent I would describe it as “timewalking scaling in general.”
