Can someone at Blizzard actually sit down, listen to the community for just a little bit and actually address the non-sense surrounding Command tables. It is utterly ridiculous that the Kyrian Command table is utter dogpoop compared to the other ones and some of the setups to complete missions make absolutely no sense.
The normal Anima quests are insanely difficult if not almost impossible and then completely simplistic to complete. One mission takes almost nothing and the next you can send 55-57’s on a level 36 and it won’t Win for you.
I’ve done the same mission that is impossible on Kyrian on Night Fae and it’s insanely easy to complete on Night Fae. As an example for right now I am on a Venthyr character and I have a Level 49 anima mission that cannot be completed by any combination of characters/NPCs on my table. But the best layout I can imagine can complete the Level 60 Elite to upgrade my command table. If that same setup can’t complete a Level 49 NORMAL mission… why is it allowing me to upgrade my command table???
I know a lot of people could care less about the command tables but I do them on 8 characters and enjoy doing them as much as Garrisons back in the day but they need to be totally overhauled to make actual sense. The variance on the missions is so out of sync with each Covenant that it is incredibly easy to notice that Kyrian’s command table is utter garbage and Night Fae is easy mode.
I use Venture Plan on my 15 alts. Gonna to have a whole lot more soon with the Maw skip. The only annoying bit is having to do Torghast to get all of the followers.
Exactly. You can do it without it, but it seems like people who struggle with the mission table just don’t understand that placement of the characters on the grid is super important.
I’m Kyrian, and my guys can frequently do many missions 7-9 levels higher than they are. You just have to place the characters appropriately.
Venture plan is severely out of date btw. It doesn’t work for any of the new followers. The author claims to still be working on it but…idk. Someone did try to fork it but the OG author shut them down.
This is true that Mikanikos is crazy OP, giving Kyrian one single decent companion - which is one more than Venthyr have. But that doesn’t change the fact that Night Fae and Necrolord are 10x easier to do missions than either Kyrian or Venthyr. Both need to be buffed badly.
Using Venture Plan or Covenant Mission Helper addons is HIGHLY recommended, but addons don’t change the fact that Kyrian and Venthyr companions are incredibly weak compared to Night Fae and Necrolord.
I’m finally finding out how inept Kyrian followers are now that I’ve started to play my pally alt. On my night fae main, command tables are easy work. Send any followers out and they will finish the jobs for you. Not so with Kyrian. So many times I’ve thrown my hands in the air and wondering why I’m even bothering with it. It’s such a jarring difference that it’s hard to believe. On night fae, all my 21 followers are always on a mission while I can barely send out 3 or 4 followers on Kyrian that are around level 40. Quite shocking.
No one needs DBM - the ingame announcement system does all the same things except for giving you timers of mechanics you should already know by heart anyways
