Fix the stuck in combat bugs

14 years later you can still be stuck in combat outside when there are no mobs attacking you and have not been for 10+ minutes.

Either give every class an ability to drop aggro, fix the bugs or better yet give every class the ability to drop combat until you fix the bugs. This is unacceptable.

Its way better this expansion than it was in Legion, way better. Its rare enough that I dont even rage out over it anymore.

I found that in legion if you got stuck you could just run far enough away and it would eventually break combat or you could kill something and it might break your combat. Not so much in BfA. The only way to break combat is to hearth or alt+F4 your game and wait for 5 minutes.

I didnt get stuck in combat one single time in Legion, what are you on about?

meanwhile in BfA I have fish literally swimming on land to chase me across half a zone because their leashing broke lmfao

I had a bee in Vol'dun chase me halfway across the zone to attack me until I killed it yesterday. >_>

But most of the stuck in combat bugs are caused by mobs glitching out and getting stuck underground.

Thus, they can't reset, and as such remain in combat with you until you die.

What they need to do is make it so if a mob is in combat but no enemies are within like 5-10 yards for more than like 10 seconds, it despawns.

Just feign death, just vanish. We get it, you're one of the classes that can break combat. That's exactly what every class should have until they fix this permanently.

Ironically its the opposite for me in legion I was doing what your experiencing and with bfa I can just run run till it goes away. Unless its in an Island Expedition were they dont reset like in dungeons.

Blizz can you PLEASE fix the “you are in combat” bug that has been around for the last few expansions. it is getting worse! I get the you are in combat bug on a regular basis and I can’t get out of it. I kill things, I exit the game nothing seems to bump me out. At least allow us to use the flight whistle while in combat. How hard can this be? What are the downsides?

You could always race change to Nelf and get a combat drop as a Warrior. My Fury Warrior is a Nelf and it is glorious.

That does not even work 99% of the time in Druskvar, and during incursions. Theres alot of other times it does not work also. Use to also be able to dismiss a demon as a lock and drop combat, not so much in BfA.

They need to do something, its out of hand. Its sad you can not even use your whistle.

None. Because you can not even cheese it for rares, WQ’s or world bosses, because you need to be in range to get credit. So there is no downside.
