Fix the spell casting breaks with meles turning around us

Warlocks spells have long time casting and we need to be stationary. So, when melee classes are close to us they can easily break our spell by just moving around.

To fix this, blizzard should make our spells like fear, that doensn’t need to be facing the target.

Second option would be after 50% casting a spell, it should complete no matter facing the target or not.

I was already very frustraded in arena trying to cast some chaos bolts on a warrior because he can:

Storm bolt (4 sec stun, 30 sec cooldown)
Spell reflection (2 sec stun, 25 sec cooldown)
Charge (2 sec stun, 20 sec cooldown)

Do the math: With all the spell and the stuns, warlocks wont have many chances of casting bolts.

And healers dispel fears…

All we have been asking (for years now) is to make shadowfury instant again. That’s it. A 1 min cd spell to be uninterruptible. Instead they’re giving us a ton of hp so we can sit there longer while not being able to cast anything.

One instant shadowfury won’t save you in arena and BGs…

I’m not having any problems against melee running circles around me when i cast… just make sure you’re facing him by the time the cast goes off… not that hard… this is a “git gud” moment…

Yes it is, but even if you “git gud” melee are still going to walk all over us. what am I going to do as a lock? Stun for 6 sec on me, yep. Oh 4 sec interrupt, you know it. Can I make space, nope. I 'm just stuck helpless. Whats even better is there are classes that have more CC then that and I just end up sitting there waiting to die knowing I have nothing I can do.

Sadly this is the reality of the situation, people scream nerf locks when melee and the game in general needs a redesign.

Ditto man! Like F this 3v3 mind set, the game is an MMO RPG not 3v3

They need to balance it around 1v1s or the open world, classes should be able to stand on their own and be able to show a difference between a good and bad player. More situational spells or spells in general that could turn the tide when used properly, or just better crap in general.

I find that to not be a very accurate statement. It seems as though even when the spell finishes and we’re facing the target it still fails if you weren’t facing them for long enough or something. Been very frustrating trying to find a way to deal with the melee who run around us in circles spamming interrupts and stuns.

You don’t do arena against good players
