Current rolling a 22 Rogue and questing through Darkshore.
Am I really supposed to care about “The Curse of Ula’tek”, or “Dragonflight” content at that part of the game?
It’s quite overwhemingly confusing, that the game is telling me to focus on other things than the content I actually want to focus on. I’m questing in Darkshore… leave me alone.
Not concerned about Midnight or Dragonflight content with this character, and honestly, why should I care, when as far as I’m concerned Deathwing just destroyed the world, and Nelf are dealing with the loss of their immortality. Haven’t exaclty paid my dues to be on the forefront…as far as storytelling goes.
Yeah Yeah Yeah, I can ‘ignore’ it, or play on Classic servers… but last I checked this was an MMO-ROLEPLAYING GAME anyways. Why jumble up the story? Where’s the roleplay when I’m being told to go to the last chapter of the story right away?
If I wanted to streamline to the endgame, I’d talk to Chromie and send me to the Dragonflight content… if I want to take the long way around, maybe I don’t want to hear about Ula’tek at level 22…
I realize this is an OCD-level complaint, but I can’t be the only one bothered by things in the Quest Log that doesn’t make sense (yet).
So as for a solution, why not just have the quest log customize itself to the zone you’re in?.. I’m in Darkshore, then just have the quest log tell me what I need to do for Darkshore, instead of telling me something is happening in a zone that is a few dozen levels above me?..THEN once I make it to the Dragon isles, and doing actual Dragonflight content, THEN the quest log should push that content.
