How is it, we still have lag on patch’s and releases. No one will ask this question in interviews. Its been unplayable for 3 days. Restarts don’t fix the problem. How is this still a thing in 2025? Like can we invest into the servers. Chat channels are filled with all these questions and concerns in game. I don’t mean to be a backseat dev, but I feel as if the funds that are being given are delegated incorrectly. Its always the same song and dance, we didn’t expect this much volume for the last 15 years, and I’m sure they say on the dev floor, well it will come down and people will return to retail and servers will get better, therefore we don’t have to intervene the servers. Its extremely unfair we have to endure this, we’ve done our part as a community, we pay the monthly and donate our time. In return we expect an exceptional game experience, its been far under par in the sense. This needs to be there number one priority game optimization and morale. There needs to be a sense of urgency on this topic. Start from the basics Server health, being number one.

I wasn’t the first day, but I am now on Wyrmrest Accord. It’s not so bad on dead servers.
Sad that Blizzard has only communicated about MT and not the lag, bugs, or lack of hidden appearances.

Yeah the lag is awful. I got to see it when I realm hopped over to a friend on Moon Guard last night. Last night. It was like 10pm Pacific and it was still unplayable. I realm hopped them to my dead server instead and it was bliss.

It’s been pretty much daily on US-Draka. It’s like a slideshow, every two seconds it stutters for a second.
