FIX the damned lag in Undermine already

not even kidding. Week 3 is now almost over and we’re STILL dealing with loot/quest lag when the world boss is engaged anywhere near us.

This is ridiculous at this point. FIX IT>

There’s a right way to voice your frustrations, and a wrong way.

This is the wrong way.

The lag is unacceptable, sure, but when the majority of players are in Undermine, it’s really unavoidable without more sharding, which will then make it feel empty.

I mean, do YOU care if you see a bunch of players around a current content zone?
If they can’t have a bustilng area without lag, they have other issues.

I just want to do my world quests without it taking 2 and 3 times as long due to something as basic as load balancing on a zone.

Take it as a good sign, lag means the zone is healthy. It could be dead at this point like many zones.

Lets not cope and defend Blizzard. They know when they release a single zone that most of the playerbase will go there. They have the resources to prepare.

Yes, I do care. The world feeling empty is pretty sad, so it’s really nice to see players around!

To illustrate my point, it’s nice being able to do scrap farming without needing to join a group, because typically, five to ten people show up to each one! It’s a great way to make some friends. I’ve had three of the mounts drop from that, and been able to give them to players who were present for the kill. If it’s dead out there, it feels pointless. Some of us like seeing and interacting with others.

Not defending Blizzard, just sayin, most zones are dead about a month in, bit of a good sign that nearly a month in folks like the zone enough to be there en masse.

Whether the servers can take the strain or not, that’s a separate problem. But they really do need to improve load capacity.

I’m not saying your’e wrong, but they should be able to make sure the experience isn’t laggy…period. It’s not a tough thing to do.
