It’s so frustrating to spend 15 minutes trying to do the tasks for the 0/5 quest and having NOTHING count towards it. Now I have to do it again in 3 hours.

Was it super crowded? I notice I get few if any tasks if there are tons of people. Oh and make sure you hit the Yes, chef button before or it won’t count.

Hey so I am not sure how this works, am I doing something wrong or is it a bug? I also got no credit at the feast but I’m just kind of standing there and killing mobs.
It finally gave me credit for a task… right as it ended, so I’m stuck at 1/5 and have to wait.
I’m so frustrated.

When you get there and the event starts you’ll get a quest from the little Tuskar next to the pot. The big dude will occasionally give you a task, you have to complete 5 of them and complete the quest.
However for the weekly you dont need to complete the quest. You just need to participate but if you cant get the quest then it doesnt seem to count it as participation.

Total chaotic mess. How does anyone see what they’re doing? It’s sadistic that they made this part of the weekly.

Thankfully for the weekly rep+event quest it counted for me. I just don’t understand why it wouldn’t count it for the other weekly event.
That’s not true. You do not have to hit that at all. I never do.
It only becomes relevant when you’re trying to stir the pot because you can’t stir without hitting that button 1st
It seems bugged or there is some hard cap on the number of participants. Its not a great setup

I am not sure what you guys are doing to get no credit - maybe try turning off your addons. I just did one by accident and there was only minutes left and I got 3 orders in that time.
you get a speed buff which is helpful for some tasks as well
Yes that is what it is. But it is not necessary to get any reputation or to fulfill the requirements of the task.

My Weekly requires me to complete 1 Community Feast.
2 Feasts and no credit.
Put in a ticket…9 days plus…a lot of help that’s gonna do…lol.

To fulfill the weekly you just have to do one task.
If you’re not getting any leave the area completely until the text goes away and come back

I got the chefs hat icon and the Yes Chef reply was stated when I hit it.
The hat is not a requirement to fulfill it or not.
The hat is a prompt that lets you know you have a task. If you had a task that is not based on a timer and you just sat there… of course you didn’t get anything done. You actually have to fulfill these to finish they will not go away on their own. You also will not get credit if you fail to do this
If the task was on a timer, you should have gotten credit and finished weekly regardless if you helped or not. If you didn’t then you need to leave the area and come back because something didn’t go right. Sometimes if you kill the meat parts too fast it will bug.
The hat is just a speed buff. You do not have to press it. Pressing it doesn’t help or hurt
yeah I wish they would take those extras out of the weeklies - I hate being FORCED to do those to complete that once you got all the rep done.

I just stood on the outer edges and slapped the carp every once in a while with an instant cast ability. When the little Chef hat pops up make sure to click it. Kick some fish back in the pot. Stomp on some snails that spawn.
The yes chef button is just for fun. it will count and you will get rep w/o hitting yes chef.
