people are buying out stacks of mats and reselling them for even more on the auction houses but thats not the problem…the problem is that they are listing each individual item from those stacks on the ah with some kind of addon/program to fill the ah up to troll because blizz didnt add any kind of fail ssafe to prevent this sort of issue from happening, like they do on retail…

In retail all they did was increase the gold you put in to do single stacks ppl still do them just less. Flipping isnt an exploit. And if they change that in classic they will be changing the game.

It isn’t an exploit. That is how the auction actually works. People can still do it in the current version.
All blizzard did in the current version is to make it more expensive to post that way.
However, guess what. The auction house in classic actually ENCOURAGES people to post in singles at times because you don’t get a deposit charge on singles whereas you do on stacks.

It is pretty annoying to have 10 pages of over priced single stacks of a reagent I need to get to a full stack with a decent price. This wasn’t really an issue in vanilla unless I’m recalling incorrectly.
Exploit might be a bit of a harsh word to use on this issue. It’s not exploiting any broken game mechanic, it’s just a bunch of people being overly annoying.

No where does it state that you have to sell stacks of items on the AH. Listing 1 item is acceptable. Working as intended.

your best bet is to get an ah addon that just lists the item how you want and move on. they are unlikely to change this.
it’s not an exploit, and it is how the game worked in vanilla.

That part is actually a bug with auctioneer I think, there is a deposit fee for posting singles when I do it with no auction house addons.
Actually there is no deposit fees on singles for some items and a deposit for stacks and I don’t use an addon. It may not be consistent on everything, it may be the deposit has to be a certain amount and if it is less then there is none.

Hmm, I guess I would not know then. I know there is always a deposit fee for posting single potions and single herbs for me, I have not really tried other items though.
Or you coukd like sort what you are looking for on reverse order so youbsee full stacks first. Exploit avoided

I doubt most people weren’t playing the auction house like they do now. That’s what those walls are often all about, discouraging people from buying someone else’s item.
Learn to sort by rarity, that still works. Or you can use an addon.

Cloth does not have a deposit when posting singles and I don’t have any AH add-ons.
Just some items have a deposit and some items do not.

You can use the same addon they are listing those single stack auctions with, to purchase the full stack items that have lower per item pricing. And do it without having to scroll through 10 pages of single stacks.

I came across it posting buff food.
It’s not an exploit. Just a stupid use of game mechanics.
You have to use the same addon they use. You don’t have to list with it, you can just use it to scan for the lowest buyouts and buy them quickly that way. Auctionator is very fast and easy to do this with.
