Fix Sub/MM damage

Dmg is way too high, is this a joke?

This is the balance after one month delayed SL release?

I understand ppl may want a fast meta, but do know that some classes have way more uptime than other classes, especially classes that have stealth which always have the opening hand.

All and all, this feels like 8.0 all over again.

Didn’t most people say that was literally the best BfA patch/season minus if you’re a warlock/ww/dk

Meta was way more diverse and not every game was a damp fest rofl

We’re all without gear which will be massive hp increases and low HP playing in random BGs, once you stop getting gibbed to CDs games are a lot slower than 8.0

MM hunter aimshot needs to be nerfed a little bit thats for sure. Played with a fresh hunter and he pretty much one shot a mage from stealth using double tap aimshot and kill shot.

Are legendaries really going to be enabled in instanced PvP? Are me and the boys really gonna have to do like 8 hours of PvE a week?

It’s not 8 hours of PvE a week, but they are enabled.

You just need one legendary

You can have enough dust for a legendary after 3 weeks, then you don’t ever have to do torghast again. Once you have all the layers unlocked it’s not even that uch time in torghast either

Fortunately Torghast is pretty enjoyable. It’s just the worry that Blizzard will keep deciding to make huge balance decisions 2 weeks after everyone has already picked something.

kids are upset about MM bc the arrow – that is doing the one shots. The arrow is the issue not the damage. Just wait until everybody is full gear. Rogues/Rets/Wars/WWs and even LOCKS can one hsot still if they blow all CDs. Give the game time and let the season start before we start forum spamming for nerfs please. Everything feels good to play and like you can win. Give it time

taht would allow people the extra global to react before they get slaughtered. But without arrow its 50% hp non-crit. I think from playing over 200 games this patch at 172ilvl as marks, the arrow is where the big dam comes w/double tap. That could be a fix so t he openers arent as busted.

Could be because of the low iL gear but ALL damage seems WAY over tuned atm. It’s not just one class. Everyone is getting destroyed in arena in what seems like 3 globals. It is infuriating and well some people may find this gameplay fun I for one hate it. I prefer a slower paced match where I can open, bait CD’s to set up my combos.
Getting hit for 12k aimed shot> 7k Aimed shot > 2k auto shot is NOT FUN

If people are just dying instantly every game once they have their defensive legendaries/conduits/actual gear and actually pressing buttons then I’ll eat my words

Regardless of if you’re wrong or not it’s trash game design for a spec to have the vast vast majority of it’s damage tied to one button. Y’all trying to play an MMO or CoD.

I don’t disagree, I don’t like the design whatsoever

But I think people don’t realize that’s actually a downside to a spec too. Only doing damage during one really telegraphed window outside of using it from stealth is like the easiest thing to deal with in arena and makes the spec boring.

You gotta remember that a lot of the wow player base plays in the 1200-1600 range and stopping a double tap from stealth is a lot of effort for those teams and they’re not going to listen to what you’re saying they’re going to quit queing because they keep getting popped by thug in the opener.

It’s not fun for them and they won’t participate

I haven’t forgotten about double tap from stealth, keep saying that it should break camo

People don’t stop playing fps games just because they get owned a few times, same with fighting games

The only problem with fast pacing is if the game is so slow for a long period of time when it’s faster and people that aren’t used to it think they just don’t have to adapt in any way makes them want to quit

Big reason why it’s bad when a fotm spec is made immortal, those players will quit if they actually have to play better because they’ll be frustrated thinking they were a lot better than they were

While its nice to be optimistic, when does it ever fix itself?

One, this is something we hear every xpac. “Wait till max level” “Wait till max gearing” and maybe my memory is just fuzzy, but I dont remember this stuff ever fixing itself without Blizzard intervention. Whatever is broken, generally stays broken.

Two, I’m pretty sure beta players were able to use everything and every conduit, and Sub still looked ridiculous on streams.

Three, how long are people supposed to suffer to hope conduits fixes it? Right now were are Renown 3. Right now its gonna take what? 3 months to max out the conduits? So we are supposed to just hang tight for 3 months and get blasted and pray that our conduits out-stretches the conduits they earn.

BfA when the more we got gear the slower the game became because health pools outscaled damage increases

Also like any of the old xpacs prewod were super fast and slowed down later on too

Good example in Cata was in S11 when people played the TR with S9 gear the games pacing was actually a lot better too

Yeah that was my point, we are basically naked, I don’t really think blizzard is going to tune around us being naked and then readjust later on based off of BfA

A lot of defensive options we’ll get super early on anyways, we won’t need a full tree for them

We literally are missing like 12k hp from full gear

Sub was way less redic after they nerfed the PvE trinkets (you had stacking PvE trinkets that actually would 1 shot you instantly, it was like having two drests equipped on one person that didn’t share an ICD). Without those sub was way more maneagable and most melee cleaves and warrior teams which are the meta would deal with them far better
