Fix servers & queues, transfers solve nothing

Free transfers solves no problems, only creates more.

Sitting here watching Blizzard make the worst choice possible, selling it as a the best solution. Doesn’t explain why or what the options were, and then dilutes their responsibility on to the player to solve the problem themselves by transferring.

Actually awful. Really really bad. Do what needs to be done. Lock the servers/character creation and upgrade the hardware. Stop playing the fool Blizzard.

the main problem it seems is Blizzard is wanting to remove the MMO out and let it be a simple RPG game where the community and the way it evolves doesnt matter at all… when it actually is the community that made this game…
“Go play in an other toilet” is what they are saying to us? I wonder…

I suppose this is the result of a company that got too big to fail. They will gladly choose greed/money over their community’s wishes.

We’re dealing with school-bred retail devs and probably so many 3yr business admin. degrees it’d fill a building in Irvine, California and somehow make money.

Not exactly the industry-carving nerds we loved from the 90s.

The players CAUSED the problem by loading into a single server because it looked “full” to them.

Now you have a queue and are complaining.

There are only two ways to fix that: let people go elsewhere, or give you layering (which won’t be nearly as good a fix).

Maybe it’s time to bite the bullet and fix the PROBLEM YOU CREATED YOURSELVES.

Blizz could just ignore you and do nothing at all. You’re lucky they even did this.

You will complain when the server size is to big because spawn rates arnt dynamic.

You will complain they charge you money to move off the bloated ( or dead ) server’s.

Also this is not a retail thing.
This was how they “solved” this sort of thing in vanilla. I know they had 3 rounds of server transfers off my vanilla realm untill it was 90% alliance 10% horde.

What about the people who would have began on these servers when it was still listed as “high” or even “medium” population, and spent countless hours on their characters and guilds.
“screw those people, they should just transfer off if they don’t want to wait to play the game they pay a monthly fee for”?
“They should have been able to see into the future and know their server would be massively overpopulated”?

It is the fault of Blizzard because any decent server admin would know to lock the server off from any more players once it’s starting to reach its max population capacity.
Instead, Blizzard allowed paid transfers for that extra sweet, sweet cash… MMMM! MONEY!! AHAHA!
Do you get it now?

Bruh, this is the era of taking no responsibility for your actions.

Legit break something. Don’t even bother to hide your hand. Then point at everyone else and say they did it; when everyone SAW you do it.

Players caused this problem. Players even PAID MONEY to transfer and create this problem. Then cry cry cry. Its a joke.

That’s your personal preference. Not mine. I would hate it if they did that. I think that’s a horrible, horrible thing to do. I would quit.

How is that a horrible solution? Keep character creation to accounts over a certain level however server transfer to the ultra full servers need to be closed.

Even back in the days I played Toontown Online (2002), server admins had the common sense to lock players out of the servers that were nearing max player capacity.
This is something the server admins should be responsible for because yeah players can do stupid things sometimes like all want to congregate in one place and cause chaos and lag on the entire server.
There should be measures to stop this by server admins as their duty, and job.
This wasn’t done here on a game where there are actually things you can’t take with you like your guild. And it’s 2020.
They should know better, but they chose greed. Plain and simple.

It stops growth. Not something I would be interested in supporting.

That doesn’t mean what you think it does.

Oh snap. I forgot you were a mind reader

They’re called context clues. You should try them.

What are you even talking about? I know what too big to fail means. It’s something a third grader would understand.
Nice trolling.

prove it.
tell us.

You might know what it means, however, you’re not using it correctly.

It’s not about hardware, it’s hard to find black lotus now, imagine if you had double the players. Unless you want layering back.

Even if I didn’t use it correctly which I believe I did, why would it matter to you?
All you seems to like doing is arguing the dumbest, off topic points in every thread I see you in.
Get a better hobby.
