I know, but I do not want lose like this. It should starts from 0-1400 max I think. After wins it ok that we get 2k+ but not first game.
After first lose game people always leave, so better start from 1400, not from 2k.
Then itâd be the sad 1400 players here that they were being crushed by 2k+ exp players.
Yeah, rbg players are weird like that.
So mmr should be fixed. System should check group exp then and compare ilvl too. So no gear, but exp players have middle mmr.
Middle for me it 1600.
It could potentially be tweaked, but really people just need to be okay with losing a bit.
Initial calibrations donât take long.
Hahaha.
But they arenât ![]()
Easier change one system for many players then many players thinking.
Then they never really had a chance.
I believe thatâs because everyoneâs MMR starts out around 1500. So your MMR is still gonna be around the same as a team of legit 15/1600 cr players.
to be fair this happens in arena too just not as bad.
The thing with arena is that you only have to adjust the 2-3 people, and itâs quicker to get a group for that. In rbgs you spent 20 minutes forming, lose over the course of 10, then everybody is all mad and leaves.
Whereas in arena you lose twice and your MMR has adjusted to where it should be.
when that happens, it just means the system canât find a worst group queuing, so it places you against the next bad group it finds. Nothing much anybody can do about it, except suggest you queue in prime times rather than odd morning or late late night hours.
Was trying to gear some alts with friends, and now weâre hardstuck at 2200 MMR with 1400 gear. Have to queue to lose into 4-5 main teams before MMR is down enough to face similarly geared opponents! And then itâs straight back up to 2200 after a win or two! Mind you, there are some maps where we can win despite the disparity, but weâre literally queuing into the same teams that our mains queue into. I guess the real problem is rating gating gear, and the acquisition time of that gear in general. We wouldnât mind queuing into mains with alts if the alts werenât 8k HP downâŚ
The main thing happening here is you are clearly queuing with people with very little pvp history in the current season. The least the system has to base your mmr on, the swingier it gets. This type of issue fixes itself (not really, but gets better) as you climb through the rank, get more games under your belt, and queue with people who also have more games in general under their belt.
Yeah, that makes sense. There are a lot of good players on the team, but their alts are very fresh.
