This is so incredibly frustrating. Verbatim in the developers own freakin’ patch notes:
This change will also allow us to maintain Odyn’s Fury as a powerful and signature Fury ability independent of Avatar.
Ok, newsflash. There is not a single reasonable fury talent setup, at any target count, where Odyn’s Fury is a dps gain to take.
Fury capstone talent design is honestly kind of a joke, but this one is actually fixable with nothing but number tuning. Why has this not happened?
I still miss the DF season 3 tier set that had the Annihilator build and buffed odyn’s fury so that it would actually be worth using. There was never any compensation for losing the old version of Titan’s Torment that made Odyn’s Fury feel somewhat impactful. Both Bladestorm (my favorite fury warrior ability) AND Odyn’s fury should be worth taking for AoE builds. Whatever compenstation the devs thought they were given to make Odyn’s Fury “a powerful and signature Fury ability” has failed.
