Must I explain why?
Loool you must be new around here
Yes, please? Not sure i follow…
Well to began with
Necolords abilities as a warrior are highly and I say Highly situational, and its 3 player limit just make it even worse to use in a raid, including how stationary it is.
That aside their aesthetics are all about “Might and a warrior culture” while I do enjoy it, my experience on being on the blunt end of the activities I do puts me bellow every other warrior in both pve and pvp content.
It doesn’t fit the picture, the ability and its application to the aesthetics they have.
Blizzard has a made it a point where If I don’t play any other warrior I will not be able to compete or yet be invited to a raid, cause of this choice, so I’m hoping that they come to a realization that they need to rework the covenant abilities
So they Best used for there unique niche and enjoyable to even have.
Not all roads are fun
This isn’t true.
The other options do unfortunately perform significantly above ours, but that doesn’t mean we’re completely out in the cold. If you want to play it, play it. If not, don’t. It doesn’t need to get more complicated than that.
I’m continuing to play it. I’m going to also continue to advocate for bringing this covenant ability up to standard. There are other areas this is brought up. I suggest keeping this conversation alive in a single thread, and have been suggesting this one:
If you want the ability fixed, let’s focus on what’s right about it. Not reflect the stereotypes some community members hold that make it more difficult for us.
Its the EXACT same problem that warriors had with their legendary for prot back in Legion.
It requires you to not be mobile, which in this game is freaking impossible. For flesh craft it should be an instant cast, for the banner there is no reason it should not just be attached to you.
Fleshcraft is “fine” (passive aggressive tone).
I do agree that there’s no reason Fleshcraft can’t be a channel that still allows you to take other actions, and retain defensive bonuses. In fact, this should probably get wrapped into the soulbind for Emeni, Emeni’s Ambulatory Flesh.
For comparative purpose, Plague Deviser already gains Ultimate Form for Fleshcraft which is already an incredibly powerful bonus to the effect, especially for healers, even if you have to stand still for a little while to proc and can’t take other actions.
The reality with Fleshcraft is that it allows you an extra little buffer to starting health. It’s not an incredible bonus because no general covenant ability was designed to give power creep. Again, thanks to Plague Deviser’s Volatile Solvent, Fleshcraft becomes a power bonus when using at the end of a pack/pull.
There are incremental benefits to the ability that are just downright ignored when criticism comes up about the intentionally designed weaknesses to the skill.
