I apologies for my english
I feel like since wod or legion the mobility for a lot of classes in this game has gone too far
imo wrath of the lich king or cata mobility had the best balance
u shouldn’t be able to cross the map in 2 seconds like demon hunters, mages (specially arcane), druids and monks and go back again to the previous position
bring back utility spells but balance the mobility
imo arms warrior has the best balance in terms of mobility
every “mobile class” should have like 2 mobility spells or 1 mobility + utility spell
warrior = 1 charge + leap (remove slow immunity option for fury and double charge)
rogue = 1 shadowstep + sprint (sub shouldn’t have 2 steps, only 1)
mage = normal blink + nova (remove shimmer bring back deep freeze) (remove displacement for arcane)
those classes are just an example, immobile classes like priest or warlock should have dif strenghts (strong shields + pshysical dmg reduction for priest and instant healing like pom + renew and warlocks should not be tanky, imo the should be very squishy but with high damage, remove roots for destro and bring back instant cast shadowfury, baseline port and coil for all specs)
i don’t know how to nerf druid and shamn mobility but i don’t remember them being annoying in wotlk or cata
dhs and monks are a problem too, nerf them to mage, warrior, rogue mobility (with the changes i said before)
dks are a problem too, they are not a mobile class but they have 100% uptime, remove death’s advance or nerf chains of ice)
remove 2 charges option of divine steed for paladins
of course i would do a lot of more changes in terms of class design but in this thread i just wanna talk about mobility issues
