Bicmex went 4-2 at 2393 and LOST 10 MMR and gained 0 cr.
6 weeks in and still ZERO players 2400 in solo shuffle, despite being even more popular than most other seasons.
Inject a chunk of inflation at the very least.
This is literally the equivalent of the entire mythic plus community being unable to complete a 10 for myth track gear. If zero m+ players had completed a 10 for myth track gear in vault by now the M+ forum would be on fire and everyone would have their pitchforks.
Why do PvPers have to suffer? If literally all the best AWC champions are not “Elite” then who is???

If titles were still based on % would you still be crying about this?
Probably not since I am 2k atm and that’s easily enough for Duelist (the weapon transmog vendor rewards in dornogal).

Which would suck and why they should just fix whatever is choking MMR in shuffle atm. 0 players in the world are farming Legend wins at the moment 6 weeks in, that’s just stupid.

The MMR you saw of Bicmex was the average of all the players’ (hidden) personal MMR on the team he was on at the time.
It can up, or down, depending on who is on the team and what their numbers are…because it is an average of all of them.
Apparently Blizz is going to make more numbers seeable in 11.0.5, someone has the link I am certain.

The game should NEVER be designed around “don’t play until the last 2 weeks”
Artificially hamstringing people will just encourage further deflation of ladder.
By your logic I shouldn’t even subscribe to WoW until late season, farm rewards in 2 weeks and unsub again.
That would not be healthy for sub numbers.

Yeah if you don’t enjoy a game you 100% shouldn’t play it. Why even collect stuff if you aren’t having fun along the way? Who do you brag to about your titles?
Why get any rewards for playing at all? Blizzard should just strip every single item in the game and make us just do wq and bosses in predetermined items tbh

Im just wondering if hes mad because he didnt get his duelist yet or because he thinks he should be a few hundred points higher than he currently is. Rating is kinda irrelevant if you look at % of where you would normally be. Youll have highs and lows, and this season is still kinda early and shuffle shouldnt have the same advancement the other brackets do unless you’re going 6 every game.
Why doesn’t everybody just start at 3k?
Classes would be easier to balance if statistics were static and difficulty basically just required more skill.
Reward, in that case, would be cosmetic (a bit like the Halo games of olde).
Character customization and basically just the experience of playing the game become the primary motivators and anything players receive additionally becomes… additional.
Then you can do what you want to do.
An Orc’s and orc, a dwarf’s a dwarf, and they have minimal differences that make them unique.
Add an AI generated terrain module and go on adventures 'till it’s time to come home.
Just flag speedred as trolling and move on at this point.

at this point, I’d settle for healers understanding the importance of pressing dispels in the games… or at least not lose their minds when you ask them to do it. Screw fixing the MMR, fix that instead. best part is… you guys actually can fix that!

Yeah, I think the nerfed mmr coefficient to shuffle should be adjusted (probably averaged with bgb) so the two solo brackets are more in line with one another.
That being said, I’m still not sure shuffle will survive the addition of BGB because Blitz is just SO much more casual friendly to the bottom-end and is far less punishing.
A bunch of elitists cried to Blizzard because casual players had a way to get elite rank and elite rewards besides RMT 3v3 arena so Blizz nerfed mmr hard in solo shuffle

some of the replies in here really tells me a larger problem, some people have “the mindset of that’s just how it is!” but that’s not the point its discouraging players, it’s not normal and it definitely is capped out or something else is going on, more people are pvping than ever before in the last 2 expansions, dragonflight season 1 had the mmr scaling right imo but they changed it again, what they need is a good rating system that scales and saves you at a certain point, like COD for example or League of legends, you get to a certain rank and next season it takes you down a rank but you never truly start over from 0. that way players who have experience get put with other players with exp more often instead of you getting 1 or 2 low exp players creeping up for just a few games and then not being on par with the higher exp players.
