I’m tired of queuing into an instance with 1 or 2 bosses left.
There’s a couple ways you could help alleviate this annoyance:
1: Incentivize people to stay the entire instance/kill all bosses.
2: Give compensatory rewards to players who are unfortunate enough to queue into one last boss.
3: And this is the most extreme, but let people have an option to only queue into fresh starts. At the very least give people an option to do this once a week.
There are of course times it is ideal, but when I’m working on a new alt I prefer to be able to do all bosses and I feel like LFR doesn’t serve that purpose very well.
how would you feel about losing people from your group after a boss or two, and being unable to continue because no one will join an in-progress run?
what they should do, but likely never will, is just treat the entire thing like a round robin. make it so it literally doesn’t matter what boss you queue in to. you kill until you get to the end, then whoever still needs the first boss of the wing is auto ported to the start and the group keeps filling as people come/go.
It’s also a problem that creates more of the same problem. Now I have the last boss of an instance dead and I get nothing out of staying the entire instance. Blizzard is basically encouraging me to desert and cause the same problem for another poor fellow.
There just has to be solutions. There’s no way they can keep it this way.
Might be an addon that lets you know how many bosses are down before you enter an instance? If not, then Ya it would be nice, if they added something in the ui that would give a warning telling the person, Yō this boss is already dead, etc.
