Fix Humonculi

Please add a pet bar when these are summoned so that we can control what they attack. Right now if you use them and the person/npc you used them on dies they will most of the time afk or take forever to move onto the next target.

Let’s fix it so Shadow Priest doesn’t have the most insane spellpush back other casters first.

kill them. They die in like 2 hits. Mages can AE and they are gone.

Its a very strong ability that priests didn’t ask for and shouldn’t have!

I more was caring about this for pve (using this on the menagerie boss kinda sucks) also not just shadow priest use this ability.

you run in and whack it with your staff and they attack it… it’s pretty easy

Actually it’s not that, you have to get them to stay near a new target for about 3-5 seconds. It’s not intuitive and it’s rather clunky.

These are a nightmare as feral. They reveal you from stealth even if it isn’t cast on you. Just needs to be cast near you. Keeps you in combat forever, even if they aren’t attacking you. Feral has no aoe to take them out. You need to dump 10 seconds worth of passive energy gains to kill it. Broken ability.

No you shouldn’t get to direct them as if they’re pets, because you are not a pet class.

No, it’s not a broken ability because they they can sniff you out like every other summoned creature in the game since the inception of the game. It’s simply frustrating to you, who is generally otherwise invisible until you don’t want to be.

What if I’m not a Mage and don’t have instantcast AOE?

PVP is not about 1v1. Melee can two hit them. Mages can aoe them. Shaman can totem aoe them. It’s not hard at all.

I’m sorry that you don’t like things. unfortunately for you I find the little monsters endearing. I wish they weren’t immune to fear, I think that’s a bit silly. But overall they are not a problem.

I have played shadow for 20 years in every version of the game. I at first felt they were crap and was frustrated that shadow was getting forgotten about (which was true in P1). I still don’t find them to be a core part of shadow and not what I personally would have added, but overall I also don’t hate them. I wish they functioned a bit better for smooth gameplay, but I like them all the same.

If thats the case then why does my shadowfiend have a pet bar?

Maybe also fix it so they don’t attack civilians unless you cast it on them… I was walking around Alterac Mountains and there was this random orc quest giver in the syndicate houses and my homunculi just decided they wanted to end him, and so they did, much to my and some random undead (they were trying to grab/hand in the quest) dismay.

These lil monsters have two settings. Ignore everything or go rabid and attack things from across the map. They need to be stopped.

Your little spell pushback/armor destroying monsters need to have some drawback.

The same issue was in wrath with the mage illusions. Maybe like 1/10 fights they’d actually cast spells on a boss. Wouldn’t count on it being addressed :confused:
