I was playing with a dh last night and games felt good way more so then last week we actually had kill pressure
Idk, it feels like it’s so hard to evaluate balance because the only healer in the game atm is disc priest and it feels like playing without one is griefing
i was playing holy in sum SS last night got a 3mil non crit serenity and most games i was able to do 700-900k hps i think there is more options now also hpal

DH is honestly fine. Possibly more than fine
Finally ran into a couple and they were just straight up parsing. Feels like nothing has changed other than a large handful of classes currently overperforming, so DH doesn’t look problematic in comparison.

Except thier defensives are the worst im the game with blur being a discount evasion, netherwalk being a discount non healing ice block that you can ztill be stunned and ccd in and darkness is probably the worst defensive ever put into the game, and is basically a power word shield because even fully tanking a burst it only absorbes maybe 2 to 3 million, oh and mobility, every class has dh mobility now, or better
DH is still bad, but we didn’t need to necro a 2 month thread to say this XD
Dh defensives are totally fine and will absolutely keep you alive; you also have rain from above and reverse as added defensive tools if you need that are actually really solid DEFENSIVELY speaking.
The problem with dh is it has legit 0 sustained damage so even if you have full uptime you’re losing trades which makes the class feel squishier than it actually is. Also, when you fight a team that does literally anything to stop eye beam the pressure drops to 0.
What class is more forgotten at this point?
Look at all the changes for all the classes/specs since alpha and compare.
Havoc will have had no changes to either talent tree for a full year come December.

Tell you what you can nerf us all you want if it comes in the form of a full scale class rework so the class can actually step into the next millennium in terms of gameplay. I mean God himself was playing this version of priest before he said “let there be light” and if I have to go through a handful of seasons of being unviable just so I can feel like a modern class I’ll take it.
Idk my holy paladin feels pretty solid, and in some ways even better than my priest. On my priest I feel like I can only be as good as my team and if my team is doing great and playing around me it feels amazing, but if they are going rambo and making riskier plays I feel like I can’t keep up and respond/cover them nearly as well as I do on my paladin.
Ya this was from balance like 2 nonths ago. Right now all healers are pretty solid with disc, pres, mw, and hpal all being on roughly the same tier and hpriest, rsham, and rdruid being a bit behind (not unplayable, but noticeably behind).
Oh my bad I didn’t see the date, I do actually agree though that pretty much all healers are viable but I am extremely surprised at how rdruids are lagging. Historically speaking anytime they struggle in the slightest Blizzard buffs them through the roof and leaves them there the rest of the expansion.
