Fix. Gathering. Nodes

That’s how it used to be. It might be annoying, but the current way is better. I agree it would be even better to not miss out on a node once you are actually tapping it.

If it were to disappear while you were gathering, it should let you finish before it disappears, and disappear immediately afterwards.

Disappearing before i get to it? Sure that’s fine. While I’m literally gathering it, or right as i finish gathering and gives me nothing? That’s toxic.

I would be happier if that were the case.

I would get it if it was 1 out of 10 nodes. But its become 1 out of 4 now. Its gotten worse every reset. To the point that i never saw a Distrubed Earth despawn to having 3 despawn in the same play session after the last reset

Okay? Want a cookie that was not my experience i dont know what else to tell you. Certain things can hit a large percentage of the playerbase while others see no effect.

It’s not a bug, if you constantly have it happen you’re following someone, turn around and go the other way

You dont know how i play. Are you seriously suggesting im following someone everytime this occurs? Its not just a one off session of it happening. Ive watch it happen more with every reset.

Yes, I am, because it happens to me all the time too, you turn around, go the other way and it stops

Nodes despawn 60 seconds after someone gathers them, so you won’t even see the person you’re following

Idk how you say this yet not know how i fly around or gather.

How do you know i dont do it in a zig zag? How you know i dont stop to kill a mob to mine it? Or see some wax and beeline there.

And im assuming youre just going to say you didnt see them. Are they on a different realm because i can have a node right in sight for 60 secs no one around then as soon as I go to gather it despawns

Fix cloth drops for tailors too.

Because the fact that you keep having it happen means what it means, it’s not rocket dentistry

If you mine a mine and it disappears in the middle of it, someone else mined it 60 seconds ago

I’d settle with accepting the disappearing nodes if they would just delete EZ-Mine nodes entirely. They suck, especially when multiple people are trying to mine them at the same time.

The gimmick was funny for a whole 5 seconds at launch, now it’s just annoying to the point I skip those nodes.

And that’s the point: anecdotal evidence. I’ve had it happen to me a whole twice since the expansion launched. Others see it happen a lot. Still others, not often at all.

It’s always one of two things: we’re either coming in at the tail end of someone else’s route or quests weren’t finished that cause phasing.

Neither of those can be 'fixed."

I’d rather see a timer on nodes showing others nearby how long it has. That way, if it’s already been hit and almost done, one can just move along.

The change I most want to see though is that any hostile mob near a node pulses out 1 damage aura ticks every half second that goes through immunities and dismounts players. Effing rude as frick when someone is fighting mob(s) and donkeyhats swoop in to get theirs and leave you to fight stuff alone. Worse when it is like elites where it might take you longer to finish them than the node timer has left.

that is a worse solution - I only have the disappearing nodes a couple of times in an hour but I can come right after another person a dozen times an hour.

the only one I find really annoying is those bombed nodes because they take so long to mine - you can waste 2 seconds mining it and then they disappear

People don’t think of of how fast people move nowadays
