It’s been said many times, and even officially by blizzard there is no such thing as an unjust kick. If the majority voted to kick you for any reason… ANY REASON… that’s within their rights.

They never will because they feel it would be too difficult. You either get unfairly kicked or you get a group that wipes a multiple times and you leave and find they’ve changed the thing that if the group wipes you can bail without penalty.
There is no point complaining on the forums. These people that spend their life posting are nuts man. They just parrot the same thing over and over and over again

exactly this. Sendryn can personally vouch that I’m a reallly slow tank, but I’ve never been kicked. That said, if the rest of the group’s like “hey, mind going faster?” I’ll speed things up a bit. I’m still not going super fast at that point, but the rest of the group seems to appreciate me making an honest attempt as they don’t kick me.
The more you people gonna post about it, the funnier it will be kicking people for meme. Just deal with it like we all dealt with it for 15+ years or so. And please stop posting about it, because it wont solve anything. If anything it’s gonna make it worse.
But its fair to make 4 people conform to your playstyle when they dont want to?

I see many fail…I see more pass…90% of which nothing was done by the kicked player to warrant them being kicked…which is nearly all of the reason I stopped healing entirely.
Got VERY sick of seeing crap like a tank kicked after he literally said he hadnt run classic dungeon X in a while so he turned left for a second when he should have turned right, then some bigoted comment instantly pops in the vote kick reason box and hes gone.
Ive seen tanks literally sit down in a run refusing to pull the next boss because evidently he had tried to kick me and it failed, tried to kick another DPS and it failed and finally at the second to last boss he tried to kick the healer who had kept us all topped off the entire run and there was no valid reason to kick him or anyone else…tankypoo just wanted to get his kicks in wasting someones game time and it failed so he started acting out.
The trolling with the kick is likely worse than the trolling that brought about its creation…AND we get a lot of them in here literally bragging about kicking players for no reason, evidently its a badge of honor to do it for some.
In the world of that didnt happen. That didnt happen.

yeah, that would likely be pretty sufficient. I doubt anyone is being kicked for no warranted reason more than once a day.
Reduce the timeout to 0 for the first exit…15 minutes for the second exit and then to the normal 30 minutes.
That would relieve some of the insult of bogus kicks where the targeted player hasnt done anything to warrant being kicked.

Unjust: Punishing 4 players for not playing the game the way YOU want them to.
Made-up numbers aside, if you’ve seen 90% of kicks in the groups you are in still fail after you’ve chosen NO, it means that the majority not only still voted yes, but that they were not grouped together before hand and literally wanted that other player gone. This is a great example of the system working as intended where the group gets to decide who they want to play with.
This is just another silly thread where the OP felt entitled enough that their way of playing should result in 4 other people being actioned for not wanting to play the same way. It’s a stupid idea. I’m glad that Blizzard doesn’t seem to take these threads seriously as they can see the false logic behind them.

How about you solve your own problem, make some friends that like to run the way you do. Never get kicked again. But if this is too much to ask, and all you want to do is pug and never socialize, take the bad that comes with it like a grown up.

You should see what happens when they have you ‘ignored’ but you respond to them anyway. If no one else is responding, they’ll just go pick things from the rest of the thread to fill the gaps between your responses.

Blizzards official stance is that you can kick people for any reason you want as long as everyone else votes, it’s “legit”.
While that’s their stance, it’s not without flaw. The system has been weaponized for a long time. Ive played enough WoW and FFXIV, and the latter having idiotic kicks is rare.
While people who do abuse these systems deserve their comeuppances, the best thing you can do is shrug it off.

When I’m in dungeons I see votes to kick a lot. Most of the time they are toxic votes, and I will click NO (the vote to not kick them out), but the person still gets kicked out.

Nope. Per Blizzard’s rules, vote kick is a majority vote and by definition CANNOT be abused. You cannot report people for kicking you by design. They are not going to force people to play with anyone they don’t want to. Deal with it.
I’ve levelled a LOT of alts in timewalking recently. The only kicks I’ve seen are for 1) a “tank” in a dps spec constantly dying. 2) someone afk.
