What prevents those rare items and recipes from dropping for others? I’m sure there will be wealthy players just like there always has been but besides buying a mount, and a couple preraid items then gold really has no use.
Anything less than a perma-ban would be a joke. Set the example Blizz.
Lockouts and droprates severely limit the amount in the economy. Gold goes much further than a mount and pre-raid items.
If players abused lockouts then they will face consequences including possible banning.
disappointing to see a few popular steamers abuse this.
and who know’s how many people this incentive’s later to perform the same off streams
Hey Blizz
You should make a live/video with the ban accounts, telling why it’s not cool to do that, that isn’t fair with the community, etc
Hopefully so
Thanks for fixing this!
First off I want to recommend what logic dictates here.
If you kill a boss and then it re-spawns and you kill it again. Forgivable, someone might think “Hey! That’s a lucky bug”
Now if you killed it twice and it spawns again! Now any normal person’s mind should notice the red flag and say, “Hey…This doesn’t make sense”
Anyone who killed the same boss THREE TIMES in a row should get items deleted and account banned to prevent any loot being saved on alts. Let them make a new account and pay for another subscription. This is a win, win, win for the players and Blizzard. Blizzard maintains integrity for their mistake, and anyone who cheated has to pay again. The players who didn’t benefit from this bug now get back on to an even playing field.
Thanks
Sincerely Tk
You gotta make an example of them. You really don’t want to let anyone, however popular they might be, streamer or not, to demonstrate they can walk all over you. And, you gotta do this as a gesture to regain trust among the community, who will scrutinize everything you do.
Do the right thing. Bring the hammer down.

Worthless company that can barely keep any game afloat strikes again
People are hating on the exploiters, but this is the same company that manages to destroy every single game they release and even managed to fail a RELAUNCH
No one will get banned because streamers will have to face the same punishment, and blizz can’t lose the cashcows.
No changes, layering will be fine & full sub for a 15 yr old game btw
You guys think you know what you’re doing, but you don’t.
I hope we’re all participating in a large scale secret BETA and the game will launch for real in October.
"As a reminder, Blizzard’s End User License Agreement defines cheats as “methods not expressly authorized by Blizzard, influencing and/or facilitating the gameplay, including exploits of any in-game bugs, and thereby granting you and/or any other user an advantage over other players not using such methods.”

Doesn’t this apply to the guilds and streamers that exploited the dungeon cleave bug? They all knew it was wrong and slimy - and did it anyway.
Some people broadcasted themselves doing this to the internet and then recorded it as well. Oh boy. I wonder how many streamers are scrambling to delete those streams?
Do you plan to do something to the main streamer who did it a lot like Payo, Esfan etc. ? Or they got a “unlimited no ban” card ?
Do you have the actual time in the video for that? Not “spend 30 minutes watching Esfand try to decide what to do” - the actual point at which the Blizzard guy in chat said to accept the extra loot.
Reset one raid, get another one free!
There is a bit of a long shot between leveling to 60 and destroying an entire servers economy don’t ya think?
You’re right the ones making millions off of us don’t know what they are doing…
Please ban them and remove all gained items, gold, mounts, etc… they have destroyed this game. Shame on you for your hubris to ignore all the player warnings during the beta about the exploitability of this layering issue. Your own arrogance has caused this. The community deserves an apology and a promise to be more open to our concerns instead of dismissing them.
