I think something should be done so that they can’t just meta for 54 seconds.

The leech/demonic changes next expac are good, it’s pretty easy to disarm/stun 6s of demon form leech

are you mad cause you rerolled a DH instead of a destro? i mean both your hunter and rogue a viable so maybe ,especially rogue are very strong now , i would nerf rogue before any other melee well maybe WW are next to them .

Well, the Leech is pratically a cooldown in Shadowlands, so maybe you did get your wish?

I’d fix Blade Dance dodge in PvP and dodging from behind before I touched Leech tbh.

-Soul Rending is now 2.5% leech + 2.5% leech in meta while in PvP instances
-0 dodge on blade dance/sweep in pvp instances
-Blur is now a 2 minute CD
-Vengeful Retreat now requires a Fel Rush charge to use.
-If kicked on Eye beam with Demonic Talent, you are no longer granted Meta form.

Alternatively you could also require Eyebeam finish channeling to be granted meta, so it’s not only kicks that can prevent it.

Now DHs have to actually think, know how to kite, watch their mobility usage, and team setup mini-metas properly or be punished.

Wish these would be live.

blade dance is only gonna dodge during meta in SL which is a really really good change

blur dodge from behind will likely still be an issue

this is something i feel would justify all the benefits you get from being in meta

Delete them.

Might as well remove it then if it’s going to stay at 5% total. I’d trade it for on-demand healing then instead of passive Leech.

Agreed.

Blur is being nerfed to justify its 1min cooldown, so we already have a fix for that.

I don’t agree with the last two.

Blizzard could also remove Rain From Above. I don’t really like nor care about this talent, and since enough people complain about it, then meh.

I agree, demon hunters are running rampant in the 1600 bracket, I almost lost to a few while I was farming my echoes, definitely needs to have a massive nerf, Ithink chaos bolt and gpy are fine though and should stay in the game as they are and in the coming expansions, very balanced and not very prominent in pvp at the moment

Just tune their damage down so its not the best in the game for melee.

They have everything else AND mana burn. Why do they need that much damage?

Nerf dHuntards

If Blizzard just switches corruption procs from scaling with Haste then most complaints about DH damage will be fixed. I honestly would rather have that and damage returned to my actual abilities than only seeing borrowed power being most of my top damage, PvP or PvE.

This isn’t supposed to be a trade of a good thing for a different good thing. It’s way too much, which necessitates lowering something with nothing in return.

In Shadowlands it is. But we still have months of live left. To bring DHs to a reasonable level I think that’s a good change doable in a hotfix to hold us over for SL.

Can’t say I’m surprised. However I’ve yet to see someone who doesn’t main a DH find a valid justification for a strong DPS offensive CD to be almost permanent in a pvp environment with no way to prevent it. At least with the change I proposed the DH has to use his toolkit properly to set it up as opposed to just constantly disrupting the enemy teams efforts to try and survive 30-40k unkitable dps.

It’s horrific to face.

Not entirely sure if it would be, but possible. A major issue isn’t just the raw damage, but the inability to punish DHs due to their insane mobility and defensive both passive and active combined. If DHs were properly squishy and required to regularly use mobility proactively to survive, damage itself would be lowered vs never having to let off the gas pedal now and being rewarded.

Even if it was the proper fix needed, that changes a great deal of dynamics in PvE rather than suggesting hotfix based changes to the defensive toolkit that have little effect on PvE outside of Soloing content.

I believe that such a change would actually prove to be way better than you imagine for everyone involved. If such on-demand healing costs resources, it would force DH players to think whether they want more survivability or keep applying pressure. It is a good trade.

Some other classes would have to have theirs brought down too to (Rogue, Mage, Warlock), which I’m actually fine with. I’d rather see this change expedited.

Well, I’m a DH, but my justification would be that DHs don’t actually have a burst cooldown as Meta is one of the weakest major DPS cooldowns in the game on top of being 4min baseline (Demonic Origins is currently bad, so no one takes it).

sounds like u literally just have no idea how to beat a demon hunter lmao, it’s actually a lot easier than you make it out to be, like they’re some god tier unkillable class that can’t be punished for anything they do, sounds like you just don’t know how to win, I can tell you right now hunters are definitely one of the most annoying classes to fight cause of their toolkit to stop a demon hunter from playing the game

Just use your tank trinket and void shard, that will save you.

Or just play guardian druid/dh/disc right?
