but no, you shouldn’t be able to just magically teleport out of the dungeon because you dropped the group.

I have not played a game, which has ‘high risk mechanics’. Where a few didn’t make it a personal mission to ruin other’s fun.
Lineage II: dropping mob trains on others
EVE: gate camps
Darkfall: snipes
New World (alpha testing): muskets in the bush
WoW (PVP server): random rogues; including stun-locking and letting ‘a mob’ kill you
Thanks for stepping back from the ledge.
Since flagging is going to be a purposeful thing and not “accidental” the random rogues can’t get you as they would on a PVP/everybody gets a flag server.

It was an example. You think EVE would have as many gate camps if the death system worked like WoW’s? (you didn’t lose anything). 2/3 of the fun is watching the victim blow up in local…and then blow up in space.
