I used to love playing shaman until pre patch hit. Now my rotation feels boring and slow. Survivability is horrible. Damage is weak. Great we got some utility back but now the class feels worse then ever before. Do the people who even play enhancement come up with these changes? The only thing I can think of is added survival somehow and make mealstrom stacks accumulate at least three times quicker then it is now. I’ve been maining enh since BC and it’s really sad to see it in its current state.

I believe it’s balanced to be good around a high amount of Mastery and Haste at the end of Shadowlands’ tuning.
Right now without those secondary stats it’s supposed to be slow and clunky.
Even with 9% Haste in Shadowlands it ends up not being that bad. I think I have 26% Mastery on beta.
Really, it is having access to a Legendary that it seems to be most designed around- Which is probably part of the reason for underperforming in Prepatch. And it is dumb to design classes around borrowed power, but alas.
