Ever since they came out, Evoker has unironically become my favorite class to play. Right next to Druid.
But in MoP remix I can’t roll a Dracthyr Timerunner if that server already has a Dracthyr.
Please fix this. I know in TWW we’ll be able to have more then one Dracthyr and they’ll be level squished to start around lvl.10 as it is anyhow.

They said that this restriction would stay in place for Remix. I don’t think they’re going to remove it until TWW comes out. Can’t you make it on another server? I think they’ll be combined to the same character screen in TWW anyways.

Oof, I didn’t see that. Thank you for the info.
I’ll have to see. I guess if nothing else I can pick a random server, and speed lvl up to 50, and then make a Timerunning Dracthyr on that server. Assuming that restriction is in place. I’ve not checked yet as my 3 servers I use currently all have Evokers, lmao.
But end of the day it wouldn’t take long to power level to 50 before making the Timerunner.
This whole restriction thing is really stupid. I can understand it at the launch of DF, just like there were DK restrictions at Wrath launch and DH restrictions at Legion launch. But if you’re going to do an event like this MOP time running thing, and include Evokers, and said time running thing lasts until TWW launch, then lift the dang restriction for that event FCS!
Exact same here, except that it took a bit for my Evoker to grow on me. But now that it has, I really want to play one for this remix.
All my characters are on one server as well, so it might end up we’ll be in the same boat power levelling another char on a different server just so we can play what we want in this remix thing.

I hate the restriction too. However if you make it on a different server … it should not really affect anything. Unless you wanted 2 max level envokers on the same server. If that was your goal then yea, you cannot

That’s what I was thinking with rewards being tied to the account and not the server. So I don’t mind putting one on another server. My question, though, is do I actually have to pre power level another char on said other server before I can roll a time running Evoker? If so, I guess I better log in and get to work.

With warbands the whole server on the character screen is supposed to be changing. We’re supposed to see all our characters in one screen now. Other than server economy and guild features it shouldn’t matter. And once TWW hits… guilds are cross server and cross faction so that wont matter either.

If you are on Bloodhoof → Duskwood is a connected server and you will have access to everything on Bloodhoof from Duskwood
oops meant to reply to OP

The characters you make in remix will be able to use in normal wow later. So why they will not allow you any second cheating toon…lol
I was going to make a second evoker too because I already have a lot of alts of other classes. Now that I can’t make a second one I’m not sure what I want to do. I don’t feel like leveling a character on another server just to make another evoker. I don’t understand why blizzard didn’t lift the restriction for this event. Kind of ruined it for me.
No idea, might be some hard-coded thing that they needed the expansion to get rid of.
The logic of restricting hero classes is because they start at a higher level, but I really don’t think that matters at this point in the expansion and it certainly doesn’t matter for a character you’re starting at lvl 10 in an alternate game mode anyways.
