Fix DMF Locations in SOD, they are unbalanced!

You almost forgot when Alliance had all of the top end rune locations in their easy to access zones? (Redridge, Wetlands, Darkshore) There’s no horde bias in giving horde the gnomeregan teleporter. Make us travel for an hour and several deaths to get to gnomeregan on something that doesn’t even save alliance more than 3-4 minutes at best

Rework them. You get a DHK for civilians, more NPCs are civilian and only aggro when attacked, and also you get some kind of temporary penalty for killing someone more than 20 levels below you or something.

The point of DHKs was to stop high levels from griefing low levels. Make them actually matter.

Even during the height of Classic Era this was a rarity. Not even remotely a thing that happened with any regularity after the initial release of the honor system way back when.

I agree, I got summoned to the cave near the mulgore DMF and horde came in as I was getting summoned and a paladin in the raid used divine storm and killed the civilian and I had to regrind all of r3. Which isn’t a lot but i’m playing a bunch of characters I don’t have time to waste regrinding honor I already grinded out.

The point of DHKs was to penalise killing quest givers. Just go the extra step and don’t let them kill quest givers.

You’re full of it.

Passionate player base.

in low level areas that affected the ability of low level players to do quests. Is the rest of that sentence. Why do you think that the civilians are so heavily concentrated in lower level zones?

I’d be ok with that too. I also think you should be panelized for ganking severally underleveled players. Not with like DHK, that’s too easy to abuse, but at least something.

…did you watch the video?

You die. Go near the NPC as a ghost and log out. With ~2 seconds left on the logout, you rez and talk to the NPC. Nova World Buffs automatically skips through the dialogue and gets you the buff in under 2 seconds. So you’re logged out with the buff. I’ll let you figure out the rest from there.

Alternatively you can get a BG queue. Leave it up on your screen as a ghost, rez and talk to the guy, get the buff and then take your queue. Then just /afk out of the BG. Works just as well.

If you’re dying to Hunter pets in less than 2 seconds when it takes them ~1 second to realize you’re there, then I’m not sure what to tell you.

Wild. On horde on my server I have to form a raid and wipe the alliance who spend their entire day sitting there and if you’re alliance when it’s in mulgore you pretty much just walk up and take it at any time of day and no one bothers you for the most part

Read what I just posted. You don’t need a raid. Can easily do it solo or with 1 person in town to queue you for a BG.

Dunno about the log out thing but yea BG seems reasonable. At times there are literally 30 people just standing there though. I use nova to auto do it but sometimes it’s nuts. Genuinely don’t underhand why people sit there the entire day but more power to them I guess

this could actually be a really cool world event

Worked for me.

The horde on my server rarely camp DMF but when I go to elwyn forest its like I get spotted by a scout or something and before I know it I’m getting swarmed by alliance before I even reach the fair.

I guess that faction just attracts those kind of players :^)

As an alliance player i dont feel the need to camp the buff the way horde does. Just get your buff and go away

the answer is simple really.

make all civilian npcs and other npcs that you dont want to be killed … unable to be killed.

make them share the same tag as children npcs.

also move the guards to the other side of town.

both would be great but just the dk thing that should be removed from the game would be fine.

The last time it was in Mulgore we absolutely had to get raid groups together because there was always a group of Horde sitting on it ganking. I don’t want to hear this absolute nonsense. You not sitting there all day =/= other people aren’t. What a joke. As if BOTH factions don’t grief it.

You don’t have to DIE to hunter pets, you have to get hit. Once. To cancel your logout. You’re full of it.

This is a different thing than what he suggested.

Plus now on Crusader’s Strike they are multiboxing moles to give DHKs to entire horde raids in elwynn.

Getting hit doesn’t cancel your logout. It’s incredible how much you talk for someone who knows so little.
