RFC didn’t matter at all in P2.
There is a reason why further, more succesful iterations of the game abandoned it. Because it isnt. Only a vocal minority of people care or enjoy it, easily demonstrable by the fact that Mulgore is always there but unless you bribe people with raid-relevant buffs and other stuff from the DMF, nobody cares enough to go and enjoy this “good, healthy thing”.
Of all the many things to invest development time on, World PvP should be the priority, in finding a way to get rid of it forever.
Horde have a dungeon in their capital as well. That’s completely equal.
Meanwhile Horde have Wailing Caverns, Horde have SFK, Horde have RFK, Horde have RFD, Horde have SM GY, Horde SM Lib, Horde have SM Arm, and Horde have SM Cath. Alliance have Deadmines, a one-and-done dungeon you only do because it opens up a quest elsewhere (Horde get their ring from SFK so that doesn’t even matter).
lol.
And stockades mattered in P1? If anything Stockades is worse since it doesn’t help with gearing your character at all if you came out of ph1 in even pre bis gear. All it is used for is gold farming and boosting.
I don’t get how you call DM a one-and-done but not RFC.
It did on launch. Farming stockades was much faster than the alternatives.
So many salty alliance only players who just want to troll the DMF without consequences. lol the amount of mental gymnastics in this thread by alliance players is hilarious.
what are you scared of? Fair pvp?
and all you did was lvl up there. Wailing caverns provided gear you actually eqipped and used.
Okay, you want to say Stocks is better than RFC, sure.
I’m curious how you feel it’s worth ignoring the entire rest of this list.
Stocks isn’t even relevant anymore. A new 25 can just do a BFD and skip past most of the optimal range of it. My new Paladin did Stocks once to get the ring and now I need to grind SM to get my skill books.
Important skill books come from a dungeon deep in Horde turf. SM is effectively mandatory in a way almost no other dungeons are, with no easy access. Hmm.
It’s typically the use of aoe abilities, for example, living bomb, that aggros Remy.
And world PVP without the use of aoe puts you at quite a disadvantage in a large scale fight.
It also only takes a dot on an alliance player running out to the road to aggro guards
Remy makes sense there. He’s been chilling since 2004. Let him be.
The tough guy act fails when you’re on the side of crying to be coddled by Blizzard. The game is asymmetric - sometimes you will be at a disadvantage.
If you want the game to be fair, focus your attention elsewhere first, then when the scales are more even, then you can act like you’re just lobbying for fairness.
and the scared guy act of needing to be coddled by the protection of in game NPC’s is clear as day.
Alliance warlocks have a 40dps higher damage ceiling than horde warlocks, we can start there I guess. /s
Pro tip for my Horde buddies - Google “how to get DMF buff as horde in elwynne forest”. Watch the video.
You’re welcome.
As demonstrated by the completely dead and abandoned PvE servers.
You are welcome to reroll Alliance if you think Alliance is more advantaged.
You won’t, because you know that’s not true.
People are stupid, what can you do.
They say PvE servers are “boring” then when PvP happens on PvP servers skew them up into the single-faction megaservers from Classic. Retail might as well be all PVE servers as well. Since ERA and SoD only have diehard nostalgics they also go the “muh wurld peveps” but then they start whining about balance, too easy kills too hard kills too favorable locations bla bla and that just pollutes the enjoyment of other people or triggers weird changes in class and race abilities.
Better to just focus on quality repetable-on-demand content that can be curated for a fun experience than the nonsense that is World PvP. It’ll never work properly (servers dont handle the stress well, people will always pull off random weird strats, etc) so why try.
Now do it with 4 afk hunter pets on aggressive
If you don’t have friends who can go with you to DMF, sucks to suck I guess.
The idea that you either have to fly solo or join a raid that can grief you betrays the reality that many of you horde players need to touch grass and make some friends.
You clearly only play one faction, you have no idea what you are babbling about.
