This has destroyed the fun of gathering and selling my farmed reagents I once had and loved so much.
If you wanted to go this far, at least make cross-realm AH to the same TYPE. Such as RP realms only cross-AH to one another. And when it comes to Normal servers separate them into groups across eachother like a bundle of 5 or 10. Not all realms combined.
The market for those whose job was gathering is absolutely garbage now and my passion for it has been lost to this change.
They just have to make sure materials obtained via the game isn’t excessive. This expansion they did a terrible job of it because you got mats from so many different sources, i.e. followers, mission table and farming.
Not to mention its the end of the expansion so demand is at an all time low. No one is leveling professions and there is less need for consumables since fewer people are doing progression at this point since DF is right around the corner. But why use common sense and logic when its so much easier to blame the game? The people whining about the AH prices are so ignorant of the basic concept of supply and demand.
Well if the Beta is anything to go by professions will be dead because gathering and crafting requirements are absurd. So the people wanting to farm their fellow players and the bots will be in good stead .
Honestly I have zero sympathy in this case, having mats approach vendor prices is good for the game IMO. So pardon me while I don’t care about someone’s cartel.
Your entire message was that you hate people who are farming these mats. Sure you didn’t come out and state it but when you claim the mats should approach vendor price you are implying you think people trying to play this way and sell items shouldn’t be rewarded. What else it that besides hating a playstyle?
If I said I don’t think raiders should be rewarded at all for the content they do, that is me being hateful towards raiding.
And after that it’ll be back to the situation we have now.
I mean… you’re talking about a saturated SL market, but all things are extremely cheap. If current expansion mats started to crash at the end of an expansion, then there was always the option to farm old world stuff and craft old enchants for example. There was always a profit to be made somewhere, but all this is non-existent now.
I guess DF mats will have a similar fate after most people have leveled their professions up for the most part and after the first few weeks of raiding are done.
You’re the prime example of simple-minded players who think that everyone who wants a bit of gold is a power- and money hungry goblin who wants to terrorize the realm.
Well in my case, my realm is dead. You couldn’t buy most items, or sell most items. The AH fixed dead servers. The prices are amazing. I love the change. If something isn’t profitable, do something else.
Shrugs I’m still doing alright on the AH gold gains. But it does take an extra couple minutes every day to actually study the market and identify the profitable trends.
