Not only was it the hardest dungeon by a far margin during week 1 Mythic 0, but i consistently wipe on this dungeon when leveling an alt through normal LFG.
Normal.
I have never even died in any other dungeon in the normal LFG rotation. let alone full group wipes.
This dungeon is disgustingly overtuned and buggy (gutshot boss).
Please nerf it by like 90% or something before this hell hole is unleased on players in season 2 mythic plus.
The problem isnt that it is difficult, it is that it is insanely harder than other dungeons.
I didn’t find it that bad, myself. Guess we’ll see how it looks once it starts M+ scaling. The only issue my friends had was the weird stealth bug thing, but that’s apparently been fixed.
I’ve only ran it on heroic once or twice for the weekly. I think its a bit long of a dungeon but thats about it. I’d like to see how it goes as a mythic plus on beta to get a better picture as to how it is.
Also i’m freaking overjoyed that they put underrot and this dg in the same season. No freaking way thats a coincidence.
It’s only difficult because everyone ignores every mechanic.
The only thing I’m interested in seeing is if they nerf the bleed from those big hunter/archer mobs. Stalkers? Rangers? I don’t remember what they’re called, but it’s one source of group-wide damage that I never figured out if there’s a way to avoid/prevent.
In heroics tanks try to do their yolo pulls and it ensures multiple people die from poison. It could definitely use tuning but probably won’t happen until it’s in the m+ rotation
Its simple - don’t pull more Warscourge’s than you have interrupts for. In a normal/M0, this defaults to one. When they are done with their whirlwind (which can be soothed off), make sure someone interrupts.
We knew this was coming. While I was anxious to ditch Azure Vault and will not miss certain other bosses on Tyrannical I’ve been fearful of some of the stuff coming into rotation since this expansion dropped and I ran those dungeons on mythic 0 for the first time.
Overall the season 1 DF dungeons were overtuned, needed multiple adjustments and even after the nerfs were still far harder than the “vintage” dungeons in rotation. I expect the new DF 4 getting rotated in to be a complete pain to run for the first few weeks until they inevitably nerf them.
