Fix Blood Elf Casting Animations!

Sorry, not sorry for posting this. It just annoys me to no end that WoW casters don’t use their weapons. I can’t stand playing casters in this game as a result, it looks so bad. Meanwhile you got FF14 over here like:

I wish we could choose the casting animation. I hate the Elves’ animations, but I really like Undead’s

Before they fix anyone’s casting animations, they need to fix the Male Night Elf constipation casting animation.

there’s so much going on in FF though. Way too much glitter and anime nonsense.

I like simpler spells.

I mean you can turn all that off and the model is still using their weapon with the cast lol. That was the entire point, not the flare.

Ahh yes, the infamous “Migraine attack”, solely the the reason I only play Night Elf Druids, as I’ll be in Moonkin Form, rather then see that atrocity.

A race older then time and it looks like they have an aneurysm casting a simple spell :joy:.

I do see it as a weird casting animation for male Nightborne and night elf :sweat_smile:

The spell effects are way too busy for me, but the animations with waving the staff is what I’m liking a lot. I think Khadgar has some animations like that as well when casting some arcane spells.Not exactly like that, but they have a swing motion with his staff.

I can’t remember exactly where I saw him doing them :thinking:

Oh, nope. It was during the quests to defend Stelegos in Azuna.

He was using the human melee attack animations for his spell casts when you go back to him.

I love the kyrians, but have you seen them try to run? Lol.

Their flight animations tend to be just as weird as their running animations with them using swimming animations or clipping through the ground a lot when taking off or landing. Sometimes they immediately go into the swimming one when flying away. When it comes to stuff like that I’d definitely say THAT is not finished and needs work.

The unnamed npcs in Elysian Hold seems to be working as intended, but everyone else everywhere else does not.

So like this is their polished product they released with Kyrians running around like loonies.

Is there something that leads you to believe they are capable of programming an animation that is not looney?

Absolutely… The intended animations are already there for the unnamed npcs in Elysian Hold, but it does not seem to work for most of them everywhere else.

Why it is not fixed… I can’t say.
