It’s impossible to win AV as alliance even when you’re putting in the effort and trying to work with your team. This is extremely frustrating and unenjoyable. The battleground is a ton of fun too when you aren’t going on 100% losing streaks. I played WoW back in 06 and it wasn’t like this.
Stop ignoring the absurdly disproportioned win rate. Clearly something is wrong.
I’m adding to the noise because it’s ridiculous and they’re just ignoring it.
PLEASE WORK ON THIS. THE BG IS RUINED.

It is disproportionate because Alliance have quick queues, and, therefore, less motivation than someone sitting in a 2-2.5 hour queue for a single game.
The only way that changes is if:
- Alliance digs in and fights, rather than going for honor per hour.
- More people choose to PvP as Alliance.
- Mercenary mode allows Horde to join the Alliance to PvP.
Of those three, Blizzard can only help with one.
AV died with the artificial queue time patch. Its down to 10 AVs at any given time and hopefully drops to 1. Time to just let these threads die just like AV because they don’t add anything that hasn’t been said. NA AV has a trash meta in a trash version.
I can go on and on about how the map favors horde, but the reality is the reason for the MASSIVE win disparity is that serious pvp’ers don’t do AV on alliance side. On horde side you have geared and experienced pvp’ers in AV because the honor per hour is worthwhile due to queue times, on alliance side you have rep farmers and people trying to finish the “win AV” quest.

hahaha alliance scum, this is what you get for ROFL stomping with premades in WSG you fools. May your king lose his socks every single day and his teeth decay due Allaince player’s chocolate nature. Milk drinking, scum.
ima keep it real w/ u chief
it would not be this way if we did not have to play the pozzed version of av
biggest classic mistake is using 1.12 AV and not 1.08 or 1.09

It absolutely would be this way.
There was no 1.08 or 1.09 AV.
yea there was av did not magically [Removed] start at 1.12 my guy
Alliance didn’t cry when they were winning 24 7 for 2 months. Do what the horde did, fight back, and take the BG yourself. Big brother Blizzard is not coming to your rescue.

You’re not being logical. Even IF horde was better than alliance at “fighting back”, the win rate would be maybe 60% horde favored…70% horde favored? in that range?
Please tell me why I have been playing AV for the past 4 days, done 20+ games, and not won ONE of them. There’s absolutely no reason for that beyond the fact that the BG is heavily horde favored.

There’s less motivation on Alliance side due to the 99% win rate for the Horde.
That’s it.
cry 24/7 until blizzard removed alliance premades?

Blaming alliance or horde doesn’t solve the problem.
When Q for only 4 are going on.
Ppl are not going to Q for a blank show.
Which result in the horde getting crazy Qs.
I Q for the badges but it’s like 1 badge per hour. Not because horde are better. Actually with all advantages, I would think they would win quicker.
Most are just battle at SHGY till a few horde get by to back door jump and kill van.
If they don’t back door jump it’s about 2hrs or 3hrs.
Both teams were able to queue premades, and still are.
Calling BS on this. You didn’t see Horde disappear from AV when the Alliance was having 99% win rates earlier, and those quick, 5min games.
If what you are saying is true, then that would also mean that Horde players are made of much stronger stuff than Alliance players. Which, frankly is not really the case. As I said, it boils down to the fact that, after sitting in a 1-2 hour queue, Horde are more motivated to not only make the game last longer (so they get more PvP), but also win.
Which is why you saw the change, as soon as the quick-strike tactics stopped working. Just look back on these forums, and you’ll see plenty of Alliance complaining about how the moment their 5min victory is spoiled, their team just AFKs out to try and preserve honor per hour instead of fighting it out.
