It’s kind of a joke that Aug entered into this patch not only being as weak as it was after getting smacked by the brick that was Season 2 TWW, but doesn’t have it’s contributed DPS show on the built in meter.
It’s fun to play currently in my opinion. They general flow of keeping up ebon might is nice again and the personal resource bar for it is highly visible.
Man like, to have a support class like this, blizzard either needs to build the game around it and introduce more support specs, or scrap it and make it a tank or something.
I really like the spec visually and thematically. But it’s literally throwing higher keys to play it.
Please test your game ever before releasing it Blizzard.
Dear lord, take a breath.
This is pre patch and literally everything is balanced off of alpha talents we obviously don’t yet have access to.
Pre patch is not and has never been a balanced patch, nor has it ever pretended to be.
Disagree. I’ve been playing this game since Wrath and this is bad by prepatch standards. Idk why people want to glaze blizzard when they burn 15 dollars rofl. I unsubbed because of this. It’s a broken product. Maybe have some self respect.
No, it’s not.
Bad was bfa with corruption.
Bad was end of shadowlands.
Those were bad because borrowed power made imbalance aggravated and persistent; prepatch imbalance without borrowed power is transient by design.
And as mentioned, pre patch is a meme. It historically has zero to do with balance. It’s expected to be a gong show.
It’s possible for multiple things to be true. SL was so dog I refunded it. BFA prepatch was fine and it wasn’t until max level the cracks in removing the artifacts showed. It was at least playable. At least my UI didn’t reset all my settings every time I logged. At least I wasn’t getting random DCs. At least I could still level because the squish didn’t break everything rofl. Transmog is broken as hell. Addons are mostly gone and replaced with official functions that don’t work.
Idk why we all have to simp for this multi-billion dollar company that just made a perfectly functional product unplayable. The issues with aug are like tip of the iceberg and just a symptom of, again, players and devs being okay with releasing a broken game.
Again, get some self respect. Blizzard do not care about you and you don’t need to defend them. Like they aren’t going to give you your 15 back for being a keyboard warrior rofl.
Stopped reading here.
You didnt play during the prepatch where a DH could kill you with a simple throw glaive.
Not to mention the twilight dev 3 full tank groups/arena teams nuking everything in the world😂.
Balance feels off across all classes because we’re all missing our Apex talents.
Aug Evoker’s Apex talents are absurdly strong. I wish they weren’t. But that’s partly why Aug feels so “weak” right now… our balancing is accounting for a max level we won’t see until the end of February at the earliest.
As others have already eloquently pointed out, you’re wrong.
In just learning evoker and aug a bit now, it doesn’t feel bad? And reading the apexes those look spicy.
I am curious with the meters change if anyone is noticing it hard to track things you’re doing?
I just want their DPS meter to allocate my input. That’s all. Doing solo training dummy tests and it works- but as soon as i’m in a party it doesn’t give any feedback to what i’m contributing- and it’s BS.
This is a bit difficult, so I’m just going by “what feels good” when I play.
You see, Aug is more vibe based so damage meters don’t really reflect what you’re doing. Did we time the key? Unmatched vibes. Uncracked Cold Ones deployed and we’re chillin’. Fail the key? “Damn that tank/healer was cheeks, GL next time fellahs.”
