Fix achievement points in guilds

What’s the point of “account wide” achievement points when on each character it shows how many points that specific character earned? Most of my characters show 2k or less in guild, yet I have over 28,000.

I hate that I can never ever truly “main swap” because all my achievements have to be on 1 character. ALL characters in guild roster should show your ACCOUNT WIDE achievement points

I agree. All achievements should be account wide… everything.
I will go a step further and say reputation and renown also.

You really care that much about what other people think of your make believe accolades?

When you been playing since 2009, and did many things, you get a little proud of that. It’s about time invested and stuff. I never main switched because it makes me sad that all my past stuff feels “stuck” somewhere.

You shouldn’t feel you’re losing all your progress if you switch character.

I’ve been playing almost since the game came out, and I switched from druid to warrior when TBC came out then to another warrior on Alliance when WOTLK came out and now I’m on an entirely new warrior (on an entirely new account) I boosted on Horde side when BFA came out and I came back to the game after a break at the end of Legion. You’re not losing anything. The achievements are still there. Nobody cares about them because they don’t mean anything. I’ve got CE on Ny’alotha. You think anybody cares?

I care. It’s a PERSONAL care. I want to see my achievement points on all my characters. I have characters on different servers, but I don’t want to get achievements on them because it doesn’t add to my grand total on a single character

This is what beat the care out of me.

In wrath, I went through the grind for the title “Crusader” on this hunter and my Druid. I just wanted it on my two mains.

Then, things went account wide. It kinda felt like a massive waste of my time to earn a character specific title on a second character.

So yea, I’m on the OPs side, everything should be account wide.

Even reputations, if I earn max rep once on a character, why do I need to grind it again on another character? It’s the same account, I did the grind… And if I do, and it goes account wide, that wonderful waste of time feeling will come right back.

Pull the rip cord, make all of it account wide. Reps, currency’s, all of it.

Oh, and if a thing is used as currency, put it on the damn currency tab and stop wasting my bag space…

I’m going all in with this toon to unlock old reps, quests, pretty much everything in every expansion. It’ll take me a couple years I bet. Just watch them make it account wide by the time I’m done.

Except you specifically want other people in your guild to see your fake internet points, and nobody cares about them.

Between my Hunter and my Warrior I’m well on my way to Khan….

But I just can’t bear the thought of repeating some of those grinds. So I don’t bother.

Yes. :dracthyr_love_animated:

I’d rather y’all achieve something great in real life and be proud of it.

Iv been playing since 2006 and im not really say proud of wow virtual achievements, you think other people care what you ve done they dont… im proud of IRL things that matter

Or, hear me out here, I have OCD and seeing random # of achievements on each and every toon is driving me NUTS!

I just want to see the same number my account shows on all my toons. It isn’t that hard to understand.

If they don’t mean anything… then what are they there for?

To waste time. Like the video game they exist within. That is the entire purpose of video games, much like movies and TV.

You say that, but there’s a thirsty population that needs to have CE and AOTC every season.

I’ve been playing since 2004 and only care about Going Down? and the Jenkins 'cheeves.

And yet, since their inception video games have been what?

I am not sure what point you’re trying to make. I am recognizing the fact of their complete and utter uselessness, but I am also not naive to think that there’s not a population of players that clamor on their existence. To dismiss them is to deny the existence of that population.

That is not the case, while you and I may see the complete and utter futility in achievement points, they are the bread and butter of another’s purpose in life. Just let bygones be bygones.
