Five Murder Hobos Raid A Dungeon: THE MOVIE

So like I said, I really like the vibe of time-walking dungeons because it’s visiting old places from a new perspective and gives you a whole new way to play the dungeon.

Then it got me thinking about other new ways to play old content.

We’ve all heard about hardcore mode and iron man and classic and all these other ways people explore old content but now get ready for World of Warcraft: CINEMATIC MODE!

You get five murder hobos together and their goal is to run an old dungeon (doesn’t have to be time-walking, if you can get five murder hobos together you can pretty much walk to any dungeon you want to shoot in) with the UI hidden, completely CRTL-Zing it with the goal being to get the most wicked awesome and perhaps even rad video of their character looking like Jonny Kanawhoop who surviced.

The winner of the dungeon is the player who has to edit the fewest walks of shame out of his video to tell the story of how they survived the dungeon and beat the big bad boss.

The best part is in the end you get five different vignettes telling the same story from different perspectives and those five different vignettes kinda make up a movie about the time you hooked up with these four guys to go steal some stuff from this guy who was a bad guy so it was a morally justified home invasion.

I’d totally have to rethink how I set up my action bars to do that but I think on normal dungeons I put together something that is both cinematic and likely to result in the fewest likely walks of shame. Would be an interesting way to experience a dungeon. If four other people think this might be a fun way to run an old dungeon the Pook is game to give it a go.

Druid: Remember that time you died standing in the fire.
Pook: I remember it looked like I died standing in the fire but I actually grappling hooked into a shadow and drank a Crimson Potion. Then I grappling hooked back into the combat and commenced with the stabbings.
