Anybody experimenting with fistweaving since the buff to rising mist? Was wondering if with that playstyle I should keep using the statue or switch to jade wind

Yup, I’ve been using it. Doing pretty well with it, Way of the Crane still destroys your mana pool but I haven’t been having any issues running it. With the buffs to Rising Mist, one Rising Sun Kick will extend your Essence Font to the same duration you’d get with upwelling, but your essence font direct heal is still lower than using it with Upwelling. Combining Thunder Focus Tea with Rising Sun Kick, you’re able to get significantly longer essence font HoT (permanent if done right), and I’ve been able to maintain Renewing Mist on at least 4 targets without much difficulty. Keep in mind however, this all depends on you constantly being in combat. Usually my heal/second is around 27-33k with a dungeon group.

I’ve been messing with different ways of doing it, but the bottom line is that it’s a lot of fun.

I don’t particularly like jade wind; you already have a lot of things that you want to be doing, and constantly having to press that as well seems meh to me.

I’ve been trying serpent statue in dungeons for a little passive tank healing and crane in raids for wider healing, but I’m wondering if serpent statute is even justified in dungeons given that I’m spending relatively little time channeling soothing mist.

An EM on the tank followed by TFT> RSK > TP > RSK feels very good and gets a lot of mileage out of EM (especially if you follow it up with two TPs, a BK that procs, and another RSK).

Way of the Crane has an anti-synergy with Rising Mist (to the extent that Rising Mist wants you to be casting Renewing Mists to extent and WotC wants you to punch), but it’s just so fun (and effective) to go kaio-ken x10.

Also, RM > RM > EM (on tank) > TFT > WotC > RSK > TP > RSK > TP > TP > BK (hope for proc) > RSK melts mobs, keeps the group’s HP high, and is a lot of fun. Add a Humming Black Dragonscale to that for a little single-target damage and a little mana, and you’re cooking with gas.

I still haven’t quite gotten the hang of Rising Mist for raid healing, but it has been both fun and effective in dungeons. I just need to play with it more in raids, but my numbers have been getting better as I’ve tried different things.
