I disabled all addons and still cannot see any Fishing Pools on my Mini Map in TWW. There is no option for Find Fish and I dont see any sort of Fishing Journal needing to be fished up in order to turn this feature on. Any insight on this issue?
I had to re-enable my fishing find skill in the tracking menu found on the mini map
Is this a character that perhaps hasn’t learned how to track fish yet? It’s not a default part of fishing, though TWW vendors do sell the angler’s guide which is easier than the old method of finding the journal in a pool by chance.

Sometimes tracking can turn off. Just double check and make sure it’s enabled.
You get the Guide from an NPC that is only availble on Saturdays…Great Job Blizzard. What if you cant log into WOW on Saturdays? /smash forhead

Zangarmarsh, go there, find debris pools and fish! You get the book fairly quickly. At your leisure.
You can get the guide from catching fish in the pools.
You can buy the fish tracking book from the fishing supply vendor near the trainer in Dornogal for a bit of silver

Could you post a screenshot? I don’t see that tracking option on my minimap, and I have learned find fishes.

I am having the same issue. Fishing pools were showing up a couple days ago and now they are not. I do not have any tracking options on my minimap so I am not sure where or how to access that?

Everybody has tracking options on their minimap unless an addon has them turned off.
At the top left of the minimap is a little dropdown marker. Click that. Its the same place to choose which (if any) townspeople or vendors you want to track. Its where you’ll find things like track herbs/ore, track demons/beasts/humans/etc. Its all in there.
Edit to add- its not on the map itself, but rather on the borderframe around the map.

know the button nothing says fishing nodes that I can find - was working on launch then just stopped. If fear that I had lost the book I spoke to fishtrainerand rebought book ()said already learned) and still no nodes seen
same here. was fine then wasn’t- was running no addons at that time. checked on book ,already learned. cannot for the life of me find any box to check off FISHING NODES in map selection of what is shown on map - just have professions box marked. Herbalism nodes are working Please advise
NVM there is a TINYH button to the left of your location identifier box above your minimap- in front of that is a dot that looks like a bullet point in front of the location list - it is not a bullet point - it is the tracking button and fishing was off - clicked it and its all good now. Hope that helps - main screen - “scroll”(dot) to the left of your location shown.

you may now buy the guide in the earthen city from the fishing supplier besides the fishing trainer

Not sure if somebody already posted this but, you can buy an Angler’s guide from Captain Oathmyst in Hollowfall. This will allow you to track fish on your minimap.

I had the same issue but found the button not on the minimap but near the top of the screen above the minimap. I would include a picture but can not find a way to do it. the icon looks like two flappers point up and to the right.
