Shortly after changing the professions I had while leveling from 70-80 to my final level 80 professions, I suddenly lost the ability to track any fishing nodes on my minimap. Only one of my characters (my Undead Mage) is affected…all other characters have no issue tracking fishing nodes.
Advice?
I’m in the same situation but with mining on my rogue. No idea how to fix it, there’s no “track nodes” button anywhere I can see.
For w/e reason Blizzard has done this, they made it so Fishing Profession in Khaz Algar needs to be manually learned by fishing vendors (Not the Fishing Trainer, and looks just like the knowledge point items from the artisans). I had the issue of not finding a single fishing node until this was learned. If that’s not the case, then I dunno what to say.
Another thing I’ve been noticing is any of my characters would suddenly stop tracking gathering nodes, not just fishing too, they’d automatically turn themselves off.
try this, it should make the “invisible” options visible again
