Finally realized this fishing spot - Last one needed for An Achievement
Seems like the only time I see it… is when the Fryak event is going on.
But… you cannot do quests…while that is active.
Am I missing something?

If you look hard enough and have some luck, you may find a usable fishing hole far enough from the action to do that part of it.
The actual fishing world quest there is also available , since it’s not about actual fishing. (Killing a bunch of crabs if I recall correctly.)
If all else fails, you can wait a week for the weekly event to move back to Oh’naran Plains.

Haven’t had a chance to try again. But the time I was… I couldn’t do the part of the quest where you simply drop the fish from a flying mount.

Ah, well, the reason you couldn’t do that quest that way in that particular fishing spot is because that’s not how the quest works in that spot.
You don’t fly over the area dropping fish. You just stand beside an open ice fishing hole and throw fish.
Subglacial Refill has you net fish in one area. In another area you create ice fishing holes and drop stock fish in them. (You’re not air dropping fish.)
The quest text itself says as much, but admittedly no one reads quest text.
The fish could be biting better, don’t you think? You know, that gives me an idea. Seems we have caught almost all the fish under the ice. Could you catch some more from the Timbertooth Trail downstream, bring it here, and drop it into an ice hole?

For the love of all that’s holy Blizz… You made the lunker achieve easier, but this 100% random one still requires all 5? Just make it 4 or open them all up… The disappointment week after week as you don’t open up the one I need is dumb and makes me resent this game.
This is my issue. Open up all the fishing holes or make them daily, or some combination of both. I guess Tyrhold has not been up for 5 weeks now including today’s reset and so now we’re waiting yet again. All the work you put in for World Awoken and looking back at what had to be done and THIS is what is holding it back week to week is very unsatisfying.
^ This ^ Literally only thing I need for Taivan is Tyrhold… You guys literally changed lunkers and made that easier for people, but this… THIS is where you draw the line… An RNG weekly fishing hole?!?
