Does anyone know whether the higher level fishing bug has been fixed or not? I’ve been holding my fishing at 225 as I didn’t want to break it if there are still issues. Last update I can find was 10 Sept, so thought I would ask if this has been resolved or not.
was fishing fine in Azshara today, 300 with 20 pole and 75 lure, about 1 in 5 missed catches but that isnt unusual. Got lobster, winter squid, couple eels.

Necro but running into something I think might at least be related.
Fishing shadowlands with targeted fish bait and a lot of + fishing bonuses that progressively pushes trash fish ( lost sole ) off the loot table. But with more + fishing you’ll get to a point where about 15% of the time nothing will get fished, no loot window, no “no fish were hooked” message.
What I suspect is happening is you can still catch lost sole, but a lot of +fishing skill means it’s not awarded.
