For people who enjoy fishing and have spent a lot of hours raising their level and equipment, have you ever wondered why fishing is so unprofitable?
Well the answer is quite obvious, an exploit that seems to have been happening since dragon flight and that was clearly ignored.
The exploit (at least as I discovered it) consists of using the option to configure a key to interact, if you press the key to collect the fish and then quickly cast the hook again, the fish is sent to the mail and it does not cancel certain buffs like the one needed to catch Awoken Coelacanth, I didn’t even bother trying it on other fish like Sanguine Dogfish.
I honestly don’t understand how something so easily solvable can be overlooked.
Seeing the prices of the most “rare” fish, it was quite obvious that something was happening.
Personally I don’t intend to spend a minute more fishing or leveling any other profession (which I was enjoying), and I’ll just focus on my rogue rotation.
